Yep. I only remembered it was on after dinner. Missed first 7 rounds and will now switch to watching Alien Earth (which is quite good I have to say). Will switch back to see the last round or two. Really lost its integrity over the years

We already know that the Brownlow is a dodgy award, and people are going to complain regardless of who wins. However, I think Rowell had an great year and is pretty underrated. There have been far less deserving winners in the past. I’d be stoked if he won personally, he’s my favourite non Essendon player!

I rate Rowell. But it does look like he got 3 votes in some dodgy performances.

It really does take the gloss off an already questionable award.

Couple of times the 3 vote getter didn't even get 1 from the coaches. So even his own coach didn't think he was BOG?

I had Rowell as my SC captain in the round 7 game against the swans.

He was ****ing shithouse

Pretty sure he gave away heaps of free kicks too. It makes no sense that he got a vote, let alone 3.

Rowell had 15 touches against us in round 18 but got 2 votes . 13 suns players had more touches. And some bloke called Merrett had 40 touches for Essendon but didn't get a vote? Wow wee.
