Playing AFL Fantasy draft league - is it correct that a player like Zak Johnson will not get DPP as a back because he will not have played 50% of games at the next update in Rd18 or so?

He’s only played 3 games now and should hold onto a position even with some players returning (if he holds form)

Al Paton on the official pod mentioned players need to have played half the games to be eligible. Assume that means 9/17 so Johnson can't get DPP this year.

Zak Johnson getting DPP would have been handy. He really should, will have played 6 games and none of them near the midfield.

The formula really needs changed. It's nearly as bad as not giving Sam Darcy RUCK/FWD. That's exactly the role he plays every week!
