How do we get Butters next year? We can trade 26 and 27 first rounders... we would have to have an even worse year than this year to make that enough.

Also do we have any F/S or NGA next year?
Yeah we do Levi west cooney as fathersons and Hok and Khaled el souski as Nga

Even if we trade up to Gold Coast's selection, I can't see Xavier Taylor being available.

Going off Twomey's rankings, the draft would play out something like this.

1. West Coast - Duursma
2. Gold Coast - Uwland (BID)
3. West Coast - Duff-Tytler
4. Gold Coast - Patterson (BID)
5. Brisbane - Annable (BID)
6. Richmond - Robey
7. Richmond - X Taylor
8. Carlton - Dean (BID)
9. Essendon - Sharp
10. Essendon - Schubert

That means, Gold Coast's pick 6 would be pick 11. The player's we would be looking at would likely be Farrow, Lindsay, Grlj, or Sharp if he falls through.

If we keep the pick, going off Twomey's rankings, this is what the rest of the 1st round could look like.

11. (whoever has the pick) - Lindsay
12. St Kilda (Flanders trade?) - Farrow
13. Hawthorn/Essendon (Merrett trade?) - Grlj
14. Carlton (will trade it) - Marsh
15. Sydney - Cumming
16. Western Bulldogs - Greeves
17. Fremantle - Phillipou
18. GWS - Dovaston
19. Gold Coast (trade????) - Hibbons-Hargreaves
20. Adelaide - Oskar Taylor
21. West Coast - Ludowyke
22. Essendon - Sweid (BID)
23. Sydney - King (BID)
24. Gold Coast (traded????) - Nairn
25. Carlton - Ison (BID)
26. Gold Coast- Addinsall (BID)
27. Geelong - Barker
28. Brisbane (traded??) - Thredgold
29. Essendon - El Achkar (BID)
30. Essendon (trade???) - Pickett
31. Carlton (probably used in a bid)
32. West Coast

The first round could be 30 picks this year depending on bids and points used for them. Sounds like we might also be looking at trading down our pick 16 to pick 19 and pick 24. Not sure why Gold Coast would do this though? Even if we add our 2nd round pick, they lose points that they need to match bids with.

I'd rather stay put personally or trade the pick into next year.

trading this years 1st into next year would help?

We would have 3 first rounders since you can trade two year's in advance. Trading it would help, but we probably don't have to.

El Souki is looking like a good talent possible 1st or 2nd rounder, so there's a chance we may miss out on him though. West and Hok also look alright, but they are looking more like later selections. Cooney is another also.

I though the rumoured pick swap with GC was attempting to move up to pick 6?

Why do Essendon have 10?
Didn’t Draper get them end of 1st round?

One was Melbourne's, they traded their future 1st last year. The Draper compo is currently pick 20, will be be 21 after the Oscar Allen compo.

According to Twomey he sat out of testing, which isn't a bad thing.
