Changes daily but think I’m leaning NHH or Taylor of the Oskar variety.

Wouldn’t be upset with Dovaston, Farrow or Lindsay either.

Pretty barren around our 2nd pick with a glut of academy boys falling in that range but I like the look of Nairn - just not sure where he fits long term.

Would like to see us trade back into the late teens/early twenties for Pickett, ideally.

Of the players who could realistically be available, Oskar Taylor then daylight for me. If he was gone at our pick I'd prefer to trade out for a second rounder and future pick. There's some good players in the second round and we'd appreciate more currency next year.

I'm not sure his kicking holds up at AFL level and he needs work on his decision making by foot. Shame, as he does everything else.

All the guys in our draft range are flawed but NHH at least wins games. Stands up in big moments and kicks goals. I like that, shame he didn't test at the combine.

Rumour is the dees are keen on Pickett and Nairn . 8 is too early to grab either of them so why not grab the 14 grab Pickett and then Nairn at 33

Nairn at 33 is a bargain. I think he has attributes that transition well to AFL (in my limited viewing anyway)

Oliver Greeves or Josh Lindsay, both available at our pick. Who do you pick between the two and why? No you can’t trade the pick out

I think it’s fairly close for me between the two with only Greeves not been an immediate need because we took a player like him in Hynes last year
So for that reason I’d take Lindsay out of the two but I’d like to hear others thoughts

We've said we want speed and endurance and Greeves isn't quick. He's good though. Was considered a top 10 pick earlier in the year.

I’d accept it if we picked him but I’m not a huge fan. Prefer Lindsay/Farrow if it’s a HB, or a Dovaston/NHH/Phillipou

I think it’s so even that anyone considered a reach isn’t really a reach. Lots of guys like NHH have draft ranges from 8-25, we no doubt will have our own rankings and will go best available for us

I just feel like if we could somehow bring that 33 in abit we could grab a rated player like Pickett Nairn Thredgold etc who all look like being off the table just before our pick . Might be a good opportunity to slide back abit to allow us the chance to grab one of those boys earlier in the second. Just my thinking

Think the saints will believe they’re going to improve a lot next year and so will be more willing to part with their first however I personally don’t think they will leap over many so that F1 will be very tantalising.

Trading back to get Thredgold is my preferred option. Don't really want Greeves, he reminds me a bit of Kennedy who still has quite a few years left. Holmes is looking likely to be available at our current 2nd pick unless there's a surprise. A lot of people don't even have in the top 50 which is surprising, certainly has some high end traits, ball use can be quite horrible at times though.

I'd just prefer to trade back, get Thredgold and a future 2nd. Maybe even include 33 if we get something else back.

To put Marcus Krasnadamskis 20m sprint of 2.88 in perspective, [PLAYERCARD]Ed Richards[/PLAYERCARD] ran 3.0 at the combine (quicker in pre season with 2.90) thats bloody quick for a ruckmen.

Finally found Josh Lindsays 20m sprint time, Mick Ablett quoted it as 3.1.
To put that in perspective, [PLAYERCARD]Josh Daicos[/PLAYERCARD] (who I think it a good comparison) ran 3.05 which is pretty close and he’s not slow. I think we can finally put to bed Lindsay is slow argument, he's not quick, but he’s not slow.

Abblett stated that he is very quick of mind, often seeing targets and releasing kicks very quickly.

The 20m sprint times can be very hard to read into, some very quick players that you don't expect get 3.1. I've never thought Lindsay was slow, I've got a few other concerns that worry me though.

Krasnadamskis had quite a good game against Cooper Duff-Tytler from re watching one of his games. Would almost say he had the better of him. It might be a good selection, certainly very raw though.

I’d do the trade. Would prefer someone like Pickett to Holmes though,Holmes undoubtedly pisses off to Geelong after a couple of years for a third rounder.

Have been told we're looking at a draft bolter that no one will be expecting on draft night...

Also we're not expecting a bid until late for Will Darcy but there's alot of optimism that he could end up being of the same calibre as Sam with the same ability to kick both feet and competitiveness that Sam possesses he's just had alot less exposure
