He hasn’t linked us with anyone bar Lindsay now (& Harry Kyle but Swans likely to match a bid). Likely the bolter we’re interested in is outside that range.
Harry Kyle would be great to
Starting to think downgrading our pick sounds like the best choice
Can take someone like Krasnadamskis, any potential sliders, overagers or those forgotten through injury lol

Cal Twomey never said in this article that they would likely to Match
No he didn’t, however I personally feel like they would / should. He is the one from their academy that i rate the highest. Really like the way he moves.

But I guess it depends where all the other bids come as to what they’ll do.
Would love if they pass on Kyle & he ended up at the dogs.

The last time we took a Swans-linked kid and they didn't match we won a flag.

To be a genuine chance of getting kyle I'd imagine we'd need to trade 33 ahead of their picks 31 and 32

I very much get the impression that we're holding pick 33 for a team matching bids that can't take anymore picks into the draft. I wouldn't be suprised if it were traded as soon as the draft opens.
Leaving is to take Nairn at our first (he is Bolting) and the K-Man in the 40s.

I'd be comfortable with taking Nairn with our first. He's less of a brute than Hynes and a bit more outside when he gets up the ground but bid forward/mids with goal sense make us dangerous.

4th at the combine for the 2km as well - we love that (e.g. Croft, Freijah)

He'd replace Poulter and compete with Davidson as that tall HHF/Wing.

Interesting Cal doesn't even mention us a potential team for Dovaston. Not that we wouldn't still be a chance, there's just usually a fair bit of good info in those nuggets and does say we are probably pretty unlikely to land him at this point, even if there at our pick.

I wonder if the plan is for Croft to replace Poulter given his height and endurance.

I suspect in time that Kennedy role at HF for a guy who can push into the middle will be rotated between Hynes and whoever we pick up at this draft. Nobody has really nailed down that second wing spot given we pushed Williams into defence a lot in 2025.

I wonder if having dibs on El Souki next year and another pre-season into Dolan means we see him as less of a need.

I’m fairly comfortable with everyone available been a good fit
Just iffy on NHH with the injuries and consistency, if we were in serious flag contention like say Brisbane I could see him be a fine addition though

Just listened to the pod and did see for our pick "Dovaston has been linked" so still a little there but seems unlikely. Says we could trade back

I don’t think Melbourne take him.
I have them taking two of Cumming, Sharp, Schubert, Dovaston, X.Taylor or Farrow.
Dees fans seem certain that one of their picks would be a HB, which makes sense after grabbing two gun mids last draft, Rivers becoming a mid, Salem getting older, etc.

Taking picks for needs at that stage is a recipe for disaster especially when they're desperate for talent regardless of position. They have 2 picks later on so have them taking a tall and a HB then.
