He looked really good but there is often a men against boys thing with the bigger guys. It's a gamble. There is always a few guns in every draft and there will be in this one.

Hope its a men against boys thing, i'd love for the Bummers to burn a first round draft pick on a useless schoolyard bully.

Probably not for this thread, but its where the discussion is happening...

What about Henry in defence?

We have a gluttony of small / medium forwards and wings, it could be a good option to secure Henry a spot in the team, and he would obviously have the pace to keep up with the quicker smalls.

The only ? is his defensive intent, but its not like he shirks a tackle or doesn't get physical.

An out there option, but one I think could have merit. We are a better side with him in it, and his pace and skill coming out of defence could be Impey like!
He has way too much upside as an attacking player. I think he has the ability to be better than Ryan if he stays fit and uninjured.

Henry started out as a hbf at freeo
His last season with them, he was moved to the wing,
was his most productive season.

He has potential but that's probably a bit disrespectful to Ryan. He's a proven long term performer and has played at a very high level for years. Henry is probably ideally more of a Brad Hill style runner than a smallish forward. Playing as an impact forward in a terrible side is one of the hardest asks in footy. He's continued to work himself into games. Henry could be anything but you could say that about a heap of players.

At the moment he's really at the cross road, he either gets over his injuries and starts to force his way in or risks getting taken over by guys like Windhager or Wilson who are coming up fast and play the wing role very well or guys like Ryan and Hall that can impact at high HF.

There's room for Ryan and Henry..different players.
