This is one of the better draft ratings I have seen from our perspective - Fincher at #38 and a choice of players we might be interested in following. Namely Dalton, Hetherton, Swadling, Leon Kickett and Burton, no mention of Sam Ainsworth or Taj Murray two talls whom we should also consider.

Did another mock draft

I have us taking Fincher at 42 (and not because Im biased - I genuinely think with so many bolters Fincher will slide out beyond 36) and Avery Thomas - Webster/McLennan replacement

Available for the rookie draft are Hunter Holmes, Tom Burton, Cody Curtin, Finn Davis, Taj Murray, Tom McGuane and several others

The top 40 of this draft might be a bit poor but geez theres gonna be a lot of solid picks at the back-end

I also have MiniPou sliding to Essendon at 29. I'm predicting the bolters to cause slides to the more speculative top-ranked players ie. Pou, Hibbins-Hargreaves. Maybe trade our F1 to get in? I feel like Essendon would be open to trading out so they can take Adam Sweid bc atm I don't think they have enough list spots for him

Hoping we maintain the ruthlessness and ditch Byrnes...

It looks like a draft that more talent could come from outside the top 20. Lots of speculative tales out there.

Easy to say when our first pick is around 100. If we had an early pick I bet there would be much more interest.

I'm in the same boat though around the interest. We've already done our work this off season.

Yes pity about the lack of any likely St Kilda Draftee on Night 1.

Though I will still enjoy the night as I am attending as one of the Invitee's Guests. It will be my first, and most likely only ever time of getting to attend.

If the bid comes after pick 36 you can just match with your next pick (no points required). Possible that we trade out our first pick if this happens

But I can see the Cats' pick 40 sliding up to ~35ish and a bid coming out of pettiness after we didn't accept it in a deal for Marshall
Anyone that bids on him would want to actually rate him at that pick because there’s a fair chance they will be stuck with him
