Why call this a draft? Most corrupt system in the world. Keep the top clubs happy and **** the rest? So now Tassie will get 500 top 10 picks in the next 20 years ti make sure they are good, awesome.

The purpose of the Academies was to nurture young talent who otherwise might not have pursued the game of AFL (and pry them from other sports). Bodhi Uwland, Pick #2, was a lifelong AFL fan.

The Academy system has become a joke and the game needs to adapt. Keep Father/Son, scrap (or tweak) the Academies.
