I for one am glad they kept Ronnie. I am old fashioned. A bit of loyalty. We know what we’ll get. Mostly in the Ressies, but can plug him in and he’ll do a job. Ross clearly rates his running ability.

Doesn’t have a profile picture on the AFL draft tracker. Delist.

In defence of Byrnes he has improved every year and did play 17 games this year.

He’s still only 24 and if nothing else he’s handy backup and a solid local for our two’s.

I’d love to know what the discussion was though.

Last time we multiple recruited, Byrnes was picked in the 50's, 6 years later after massive recruiting we pick Byrnes up in the 50's.
I see a pattern here

So actual live picks there has been 58 players taken and 20 of them have been academy or FS............this shit needs to end. It should be - you're in the pool and you're drafted, by whomever has the next pick......all this distortion of what is meant to be the key equalisation mechanism has to end......
