Also fair to say that both appear to offer good prospects at those late picks.Obviously we put a lot of stock in the WAFL Colts Grand Final performances. Boxshall, 30 touches, drafted. Banfield, 28 touches and 2 snags, drafted. Clearly it's the barometer.
That was the knock on Avery Thomas in the backline too.I think the knock on him is that he can play a bit loose trying to attack too much off HB. If we can work on that side of his game he looks as good as most of the more highly drafted kids this year.
Said has been delisted to be re-rookied today.I believe we have 2 rookie spots remaining now.
Hall and Oconnell I believe are the two on the "CatA" rookie list and I think we are now allowed two Cat B Irish rookie according to an AFL article from earlier in the year which would be Armstrong and the new kid Kobe McDonald.
I cant find definitive ruling on this though as searching for any info across AFL articles is a pain in the ass.
If thats true I can see us drafting one player and leaving a spot open for a SSP or midseason selection.
It was a good move by the Dragons & the Zebs to move him mid./forw. late in the season.Interesting that we see Kye as a forward mid.
So plastic I wouldn’t be surprised if GWS are actually and AI invention
The WC recruiters even though they nominated him as F/S, gave Banfield no guarantees of picking him.So in essence, West Coast traded a contracted Liam Ryan, their 2027 third round pick and pick 18 for pick 17.
I think their supporters should probably focus on that and the fact they didn't have enough spots for Charlie over big bad St Kilda stealing their father son.
Good enough to play 80 AFL games. Here’s to the next 80.Is this Ryan Byrnes fella any good?
No worries Minga. Too easy. Cheers for the thanksThank you for posting screenshots and not a link for those of us who don’t use the gram’

Now we have a big WA contingent:I feel like there's been some weird glitch in the matrix
Collard coming to st kilda but then Liam Ryan and now Banfield. All subi boys. I know banfields been at Claremont (vom) but his old man was subi.
Its bizzare.
Especially Banfield. Theres no way that outcome is happening 10 years ago. Its like something switched. Boxshall another just dont see wce missing him 10 years ago.
I do think banfields dodged a bullet. Hes moving into a more sophisticated and ready system not a club in free fall still.
Super excited to see how banfield goes.
This could he generational shift.
Ollie Greeves sliding all the way to Hawthorn in the rookie draft has got a faint smell about it after the AFL knocked back their application for him to be in their NGA.
