I'm fine with it as a cash splash as long as it's a short contract. Bit of support for JVR. Not like it's going to hurt anyone's development.

You just know it'll be at least a three-year deal if it pries him out of Collingwood, though.

I'm not entirely against him, but as long as we've pursued nearly every other key forward option first. Especially since we already have JVR, Fritsch and Jefferson (lol) as secondary-type talls.

Only chance we trade in a better key forward than Mihocek this off-season is by trading Trac and even then it's a snowball's chance since quality key forwards are basically the last thing any club wants to trade out.

Few issues with that… Walters retired from Freo this year and Adelaide has pick 14.

But Flanders played best under King when he was our interim coach and his perfect age profile for you list so I would suspect that’s the reason King was on the Goldie last week.

Don’t care what position - we do not need another 3-4 deal for an older player in uncertain form

It does sound like there's some go home factor with Flanders. For the first time ever Casey might actually be a draw haha.

Also lol at blokes justifying mihocek as a decent deal, we already re signed Melksham why would we chase another senior citizen forward. Add to that the even more likely hood that he, Melk, Gawn and May are completely shot by then and the chances of us making finals the year after are even slimmer
