I get that the pressure is on Lamb and whichever media drongo is right to call it out, but the fact Goodwin STILL escapes scrutiny for this shit drives me insane.

Those big contracts we handed out to Oliver, Brayshaw, Trac, Viney are all pus. They were at the very least questionable at the time and have only gotten worse in hindsight. BUT given what appears to be the massive shift in our list management philosophy in the space of like 1 week, I think it's pretty reasonable to assume that ****stick Goodwin had a massive say in the strategy, to the point where his was the final word. Probably nothing groundbreaking in that take, I guess all I'm trying to say is I hate that ****ing guy. Honestly, what a complete dipstick. I should let it go now he's gone but I can't. I won't.

As much as I love a good old fashioned Goody kicking, the players deserve a fair portion of blame too. Other sides pledge to take pay cuts to lure free agents etc. Our mob screamed “we getting paid” and signed up on huge money until the never never.
