Watch collingwood grab himMick Agresta… if you are reading this .. please please please pick Rod Ali in the draft this year.
He’s exactly what we need.
Playing VFL for pies this week so he qualifies for MSD.Watch collingwood grab him![]()
If he was an elite kick he'd be the complete package. Athletically he is an absolute weapon.Sam Grlj is a confirmed Carlton supporter, ran 20m in 2.9 secs and models his game on Zac Butters. Where do we sign?! (If we can get a top 10 pick somehow)

Based purely on this and our needs.
1st pick TDK Compo - Sam Grilj... running half back we a desperate for
2nd pick - Lachy Dovaston, Small Forward
3rd Pick - Harry Dean
All of these seem achievable, may require some crafty creative trading to move up but hopefully Agresta has something like this in mind.
Link doesnt seem to work where is Harry Dean ranked?
The archive link works. But it doesn't show any info about the players.Link works fine.

Between 5-10 in the open pool I'd imagine. A big champs series could see that reduce to 3-6 or so range.Just a question for those who watch and would know more than me but what range would Sam Grlj go?
Would love him to in the navy blue next year.Between 5-10 in the open pool I'd imagine. A big champs series could see that reduce to 3-6 or so range.
Personally see him similar to a Darcy Wilson type

Probably has a better side step and turn of speed than Wilson.Between 5-10 in the open pool I'd imagine. A big champs series could see that reduce to 3-6 or so range.

Wilson has a different athletic profile in that he's much more of an endurance runner than explosive. His max speed is still fantastic but Grlj probably has a bit more fast twitch to his game.Probably has a better side step and turn of speed than Wilson.
He's my pick also if we take the compo pick to the draft.

Both would be about the same in terms of foot skills in that they're solid without being elite.
Josh Lindsay would be my first pick if we had the chance to get him but I doubt he'll be available at our first pick.
Sam Cumming my other favorite as a small/mid sized fwd who plays a bit like Elliot or Degoey.

Could be there abouts for the TDK compo if he leaves.Lindsay is just a class above. Like a surgeon with his left peg
Would be lovely but he'll be very close top top 5 I'd think. Grlj more of a chance at our pick if we lose TDKCould be there abouts for the TDK compo if he leaves.
Lindsay and Dean this year, Cody the next. Dream outcome
