Brett Voss’s son

Hopefully he turns into Sean MannaghWe're into Tobyn Murray from some reports (Cats VFL)

I like the one where Homer thinks "Uptown Girl" is psychedelic. What that has to do with anything... god knows.

It’s AFL draft day. Here’s who your club is set to pick
Here’s our final forecast of how the first 30 picks at this week’s AFL draft will play out.www.theage.com.au

Dean at 7 (bid from Richmond)
Grlj at 14.
Ison at 27 (match Essendon bid)
so who are we taking - cant see because paywall sorry Stam
Be very happy with that outcome.Try archive.
But McGowan has us taking Dean at 7 (Richmond bid), Grlj at 14, Ison at 27 (Essendon bid)
comes down to when the Dean bid comes then we'll know who's availableso who are we taking - cant see because paywall sorry Stam
Agree, but I was referring to the article Stamos posted as to who they had us takingcomes down to when the Dean bid comes then we'll know who's available
They don't seem to have any intel that's not guesswork or already been communicated across mainstream media. They do mention us trading one of our picks backwards with WCE as a possibility.Do they refer to having any intel or just guessing?
Dont know how we are taking Grlj at 14 - a bid for Dean at 7 from Richmond implies the 3 northern NGA have been bid on, which means 9 and 11 become 12 and 14 and pick back around the 18 mark once Dean bid matchedBe very happy with that outcome.
Yeah, don't think the author has done any rejigging of the order based on bids. Just assumes our first pick is enough to match the Dean bid, and gives us Grlj at our second.Dont know how we are taking Grlj at 14 - a bid for Dean at 7 from Richmond implies the 3 northern NGA have been bid on, which means 9 and 11 become 12 and 14 and pick back around the 18 mark once Dean bid matched
I take it McGowan is usually 100 percent spot on with all his mock drafts?![]()

I'm seriously anticipating the stains making bids on Dean, Ison with requests to open the AFL season playing Richmond round 1. Then to lodge a complaint to the AFL over our new raised monogram being a safety hazard, followed by a demand that we return one of our compo picks for JSOS/TDK as we got 3 first rounders for Curnow and it's not fair.Going to the Saints on $1m a year for 5 years !!
Oooops … my mistake … wrong son![]()

Longtime CFC supporter don’t you know.I take it McGowan is usually 100 percent spot on with all his mock drafts?
Welcome Grlj![]()
.As I have said previously, there is nothing to stop SOS just standing up and shouting a bid even if its not the saint's turnTheir first pick is in the 50's?
We don’t know the rules for 2026 let alone 2027
As a rule, I’m certain that we will be desperate to avoid points deficit for first round of 2026
If we trade 9 to WC for pick 13 before the draft it would slide to 16 so we'd have 14 and 16 which is 1948 points.
So assuming the Dean bid comes from Melb - a trade with WC costs us 4 spots in the draft. They'd need to add 34 to the deal for that to make any sense. I'd push for their 2nd rounder next year. Even if we go 100ish points into the negative for Ison (which I highly doubt) it will make next to no difference because of the Walker situation.
Exactly right. Even if we go into deficit, Walker is going to be 1 or 2, so we need to use at least 2 first rounders.
100 extra points isn't going to make that much difference in the scheme of things.
I'd rather secure the talent this year, and have be in deficit next year because Tassie's picks in 2027 will be a heavily compromised draft (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13).
By then we will have most of our next generation side and with Cripps and Weiters hitting their 30s we don't have a big enough window to risk waiting to secure more talent in 2027 (and another year of development).
I say Roll the dice and go into deficit this year. Can we go into deficit 2 years in a row?
Deano loved the jumperIf Dean is bid in the top 5, are we better not matching and keeping 9 & 11. Are the 2 players we would draft be a better combination than Dean?
We need a member of the Carlton Crew standing next to SOS during the draft as a standover tactic and nothing more. Promise he will keep with mouth shut if that was the caseAs I have said previously, there is nothing to stop SOS just standing up and shouting a bid even if its not the saint's turn
