Dovaston at 18 is intriguing.
Unlikely, but could we find a way to match Dean and then trade back into the teens to select him before the bid on Ison?
As it stands, we have too many small forwards on the list, but he would instantly be a starter for us.

Accepting concessions of defeat from the 'Ison will got in the 3rd or 4th round' crowd all day.
Thankfully Sullivan Robey bolting and Dean being put on ice end of year seem to be keeping him just on that edge of possibly getting a pick ahead of him .

Was hoping he'd remain low on some boards. He'd be an excellent pick up for us but being in that range will make it very hard to get him with an Ison bid expected earlier than most want.
Reminds me a lot of a young Liam Ryan.

With the pick likely to be around 12, I don’t see it as high enough to get a quality player by itself.
Because we traded so hard to get Smith, we are restricted this year at trade time, even after getting band 1 and 2 compo coming in.
We will need to get in a pick or two more for next years draft and we need some picks to bring in Reidy, Chesser and Khamis.
So I see a trade like pick 12 for a player with a late 1st or early 2nd coming back

I would be really surprised if Essendon or Richmond bid on Dean, so if we got ahead of Saint Kilda, I think we could get someone in.

The ONLY way anyone rates Clark above Ison is if there has been a monumental tanking exercise they are privy to.
“Walshy” has lauded his ability while suggesting he didn’t move from deep forward, causing a minimal output.

It has been a suspicious year from Mingara. Literally anchored to the goal square worse than Ben King despite looking to be a nimble and good runner when he did decide to go for a wander.
Unfortunately didn't see enough of him in previous years to have a clue whether its tanking or just laziness.

I struggle to believe any small forward is so unfit that they literally can't leave 20m from goal without blowing up. Especially one who looks to be in fairly decent condition too...

Really like the look of Jack Dalton & Liam Hetherton as later picks in the draft (post Dean & Ison bids).
Need a new KPF prospect post-Lemmey (Hetherton), and Daltons end to the campaign has been unreal. Could be steals at 30+ in this draft.

Have the compo picks been alloted already, as it was mentioned on "gettable" by Twomey about Carltons`pick 10 being used for something, but I couldn`t find any mention of the AFL giving the free agents picks out yet? Maybe he was just assuming that W.C. were getting pick 2 for Evans, so has anyone heard?
No. Free Agency period doesn’t start till Friday. Players need to lodge their paperwork, then usually takes a day or two for the picks to be awarded.

0 pressure on the kickers outside of stoppage but a few already showing why this draft is rated so far ahead of 2025s crop. Some real zip and excitement in a lot of the players games in comparison.

Could be but as I said, got no idea what's going on with him. He's Ison's best friend so we may pick him up anyway but he's been having games all season where he'd have 3-4 touches and 3-4 goals from that but seemingly never leave the forward 50.
Just a bit bizarre.
