Nice to know every other year teams play soft with bids but as soon as we have a first rounder WC want to make us pay full price...Confirmed WCE will be bidding on Dean at 3.
I predict we'll take Dean, Ison and a late pick in the draft (KPP or small forward).Bottom line is I reckon we will swap both 9 & 11 for later picks and some next year, then will take Dean and Ison with points and move on
That will be it with two spots for a rookie and/or SSP's
That's my take
Only on BF could this mean a bad thingConfirmed WCE will be bidding on Dean at 3.

Incredibly petty if true, because they gain almost nothing out of it.Confirmed WCE will be bidding on Dean at 3.

Then leave 1 spot vacant for the train-ons to fight it out.
I mean have you thought about the alternative view which is they actually rate him at 3?Incredibly petty if true, because they gain almost nothing out of it.
Best we make a nice little bid on Banfield with our spare pick in the 20s if that occurs.I could see the logic if we kept nine and 11 and it moved them up to draft once those picks were wiped out …but this is the game.
We will have long memories.
Yes, and it's genuinely absurd.I mean have you thought about the alternative view which is they actually rate him at 3?
Surely they bid on GCS kids as well?I could see the logic if we kept nine and 11 and it moved them up the order once those picks were wiped out …but this is the game obviously.
We will have long memories.

Why just go for Dean i understand that it slides there picks down but it would also do the same for there later picks by making GCS pay up?
Positive for us really hope the handshake agreement rumor between our clubs is legit but bit of smack to you guysI’m assuming they’ll also bid on Uwland, but it’s smart for Carlton to trade out with ESS/North to counter the slides.
Very similar to mine, clubs and playersOkay, I plugged the potential trades into Pommy's flux capacitor, and here's what it spat out. Together with my own draft predictions just for my own amusement, and see how it matches up with Cal's later today.
Assumes that Dean gets a bid at pick 3 - and we've made our trades to North and Essendon as reported. We end up with around pick 25 and points to match an Ison bid if he doesn't get a bid beforehand.

I honestly can't see Ison getting a bid before at least the mid 20's, unless it's someone looking for us to 'pay up' Too much quality still on offer imo.
Confirmed WCE will be bidding on Dean at 3.
Things change people. Let's wait till Wednesday.
That would be a really petty move by WCE...
