Agree, no surprises. Feels like we’ve been talking about how good Cody has played over the last couple years, since U16s.

GW and Austin have done well in planning for SoAW.

Had to plan. It sucks that we have Harry and Cody coming through, but the price for Daicos's and Ashcroft's was seriously unders and clubs complained. The timing is shit for us but if f/s is a fair price, not overs, I wont complain.

Not nessecarily. Depends on the system. We should be ok unless the AFL go the nuclear option. Nuclear is 2 picks to match, no deficit, no discount. That'd make it tough even with our assets. Hopefully it doesnt come to that.

Even in the nuclear scenario we'd be able to navigate it in normal circumstances with our 2027 F1s but they won't be worth much due to Tassie.

I don't know why the AFL don't just fix the actual problem which is the northern academies. Why the F/s system is getting dragged into the mix to fix the problem of QLD now producing more AFL footballers than SA & WA is beyond me.

Cap the number of players a club can take in the first round FFS. Why is this such an issue?
