If that’s the case you’d imagine Gather Round would will be released this coming weekend, and then OR and round 1 in the early days of next week.

The leaks and rumours will no doubt start later this week.

At least 2 or more for all clubs in the AFL in prime time spots.
Thursday night -Channel 7

Saturday night-Foxtel.

I could be wrong but mit sure if they announced round 1 last year before the draw came out. Gather round and opening round they did.

Think you might by right, re the AFL not leaking round 1 prior to the full release last year.

I think someone on Bigfooty leaked round 1. He got the matchups correct but not the timeslots.

Doubt we get many if any leaks till the weekend. The AFL have a pretty good relationship with racing and like to let them have their week in the sun.

It’s also understood Collingwood don’t leave Victoria after round 15.

I reckon they run a first draft by the clubs, see who cracks the brazens about what the most, adjust a bit, then release.
