Yeah it crazy, we always seem to play Gold Coast away and Brisbane at home with a couple of those GC games now in Darwin. We do have a decent supporter base in Queensland but they never get to see us play2019. This is the immaturity of the AFL as an industry on full display, where the $ has a greater impact on the fixture than equity.
Looks like they play Richmond last round. Like clockworkGeelong to get their annual final round game against a bottom side at home?
League needs to guarantee they’ll get that final percentage boost can’t leave anything to chance
Surely, we get Geelong at Kardinia Park again this season. These are North's leaks so far:

It's been confirmed we have 3 x MCG games and the AFL has scheduled no Port game in Melbourne for the 3rd consecutive year. Still no JHF return.
Looks like they have to travel for their 120 point victory this timeLooks like they play Richmond last round. Like clockwork
back in the day.. the glorious 90s the double ups started at round 16! so whoever you played in Round 1 you played in Round 16 etc etc.. now you can play a team in round 1 and not play them until the next year OR play a team in Round 15 and play them again in round 23. its a joke. For the fixture, is there any reason that the AFL can't figure out a way to get rounds 1-17 with no repeats and then repeats after that?
Humans have split the atom and put man on the moon but we can't figure out how to make a good fixture that gets
- plane travel near normalised and within say 10 or so hours of travel time.
- on the fly double up games. I.e. take the ladder at round 15 and then do the 666 double ups for the second half of the season
- it is commercially viable for both attendance and TV.
It really isn't hard. Also do away with the top/middle/bottom double ups. Just rotate the double ups evenly over a 3-4 year stretch.back in the day.. the glorious 90s the double ups started at round 16! so whoever you played in Round 1 you played in Round 16 etc etc.. now you can play a team in round 1 and not play them until the next year OR play a team in Round 15 and play them again in round 23. its a joke.
They need to increase the gap for repeat matches to at least twelve rounds (but ideally cycle through all and then start again like it used to). Teams running into the same opposition twice in five weeks exacerbates the impact that a significant injury run could have on two sides in similar parts of the ladder.back in the day.. the glorious 90s the double ups started at round 16! so whoever you played in Round 1 you played in Round 16 etc etc.. now you can play a team in round 1 and not play them until the next year OR play a team in Round 15 and play them again in round 23. its a joke.
Essendon and Melbourne are approaching 20 years of no double upsIt really isn't hard. Also do away with the top/middle/bottom double ups. Just rotate the double ups evenly over a 3-4 year stretch.
Not actually an advantage the soft kills at the end of the year.Looks like they play Richmond last round. Like clockwork
It didn't hurt Freo last season they beat Us pretty easySo based on the release of Round 0 and the drip feed of Round 1, all of Port Adelaide, West Coast, Melbourne and Fremantle are starting their season against teams who have already played a game the week earlier.
Complete bullshit, as it was for the sides stuck with the same earlier this year.
So is it released at 1pm EST. So in 3 minutes

There waiting for Essendon to win another Final to activate it.Essendon and Melbourne are approaching 20 years of no double ups

Everyone on BigFooty rn
Obviously have to wait for the BS release show on the AFL website for the fixture to land.
MFC double ups are Hawks, Pies, Saints, Suns, Eagles and Roos.
