Copped the vest (wrongly) in R1.

Spent the whole pre-season training in the quarterback role. Looked decent against Brisbane, with some costly mistakes late (not surprising given the humidity).

He’ll grow into the role I think.

He can rack it up in the backline, but wont get marks at all as thats not what we are looking to do at this stage.
He needed 26 touches to get a 74, I think 60-70 is what he scores assuming he keeps his role-which isnt guaranteed as Bo Allan is close to a debut

yes, that sounds crazy. JHF has the higher ceiling score. Rookies can be up and down.

My guess is you don't want to be without JHF when his balls drop. The lad has all the kit to be the best player in the league. Does he have the application or drive though? this is the where my doubt creeps in. I'm going to back him in.
Failing a dropping of the victim like mentality Levi seems a good shout but is he a part of the end game best 22 for this year. A stepping stone for mine.

Thanks for weighing in. You're right I should probably persist with JHF for a bit. Was one of my early draft picks. Should have picked up Levi late as well as he looks like another star.

Also if the Lions get Coleman, Lohman, Starcevich & Doedee back is Levi still best 22?
He was on the cusp and was supposed to be sub in r1 until Charlie "take me home" Cameron pulled out late.

I'm bringing in Will Ashcroft this week for Will Day. I was originally thinking to go Rankine but think this weeks match-up against his former club is a risk, coupled with the early sub out.
JHF to WAshcroft feels sideways to me, but not much different to what I'm doing this week.

I'm keeping JHF as I think he'll work it out and some point and will be a top three forward for the season. If correct you'll need to have him at some point. We just need to make peace with what ever decision we make.
JHF has 6 Brownlow votes in his last 3 vs the Saints. *DFS Aust.

I'm in a draft league so other teams won't be able to grab him, but I'm leaning towards holding him for now because he can be listed as a forward, and I already have two Lions midfielders. JHF was an early pick of mine. Should come good once Butters is back...

He'll replace my last FWD rookie, has gone at 87, 99 & 118 in his 3 games this year, ownership at 2.7%.
I know he's not going to kick 5 goals every game, but still? (cue the "shoosh" emoji)

He's not far away from a dirty 30 imo.

Okay if it's a stepping stone. But I find too many stepping stones and you are just left with these guys in your side for far too long (SDK, S.Taylor for example).

He's in the CBA mix and gives Melbourne something different to Oliver, Petracca and Viney. The main knock I've heard against him is that Dylan Moore is cheaper.
