It's been a huge off season by all the construction teams .....team innovations have been meticulously worked on, to get an advantage on the opposition

Some teams have taken big risks to get that advantage .....will it pay off ....will the reliability of these innovations be tested & found wanting ...only time will tell

It's a marathon .....but you don't want to crash & burn on that infamous 1st corner, that tests most teams .....just play it safe, and then settle own & enjoy the ride that is AFL Fantasy 2025

Is Callaghan the real deal .....is SDK a tease ....can a 2nd year player in Roberts really be the DEF QB for the Swans
Can Xerri back-up is awesome 2024 season, or will English reclaim his throne as a premier RUCK .....and will age wear our God Gawn down ?
Can our midfielders regain their status as the premier scoring zone, after defenders have recently taken that mantle ?

So many unanswered questions that only time will answer

Welcome to Round 1 Discussion on the BigFooty Board .....we hope you will enjoy all the banter & fun, that traditionally we all have

What does this say about Xav Lindsay and Harvey Langford?
Different positions, so I don't think it will effect them.

For what it's worth, during their intraclub match on Saturday both Lindsay and Langford played for the ''probables'', as did Jed Adams (def $230K), who no-one has heard of (outside Melbourne supporters).

Is Adams a KPD or rebounder?

He's a key tall, so won't score well. Had a score of 40 in the game against Freo.
Started well from memory and then gave nothing after half time. Will watch this week as I'm thinking of starting Taylor (pending confirmation how these price rises will work) and cashing him out to the best rookie option, Prior, Allan or Adams gives me options.

Hopefully if they do play none of them get Kynan Browned by Goody and named the sub

A technicality but Matty Roberts is a fourth year player this year. I’m extremely bullish on him. Was my first picked player and have drafted him in every draft so far. Great junior numbers and footy IQ. Will thrive in that swans side in the role they’ve given him. Just need him to get some more kick outs…

As long as he's a cheapie merchant and pigs it up I'll be happy, kicks in or not

W.Ashcroft (or someone less) v Rankine?

Currently running with this which I’m fairly happy with outside of D6. So I’m looking to maybe move the Rankine cash to the middle or potentially backline if I need to strengthen the depth there.

Ash vs Perryman the other consideration but leaning towards Ash for the free money and good draw

I have Cerra comfortably over JHF or Rankine

Bit of ginger drafted a few years back wasn't he - good hands?

2 days out from the season and i am still making mass changes to my team and completely experimenting with different structures. Not sure i have ever been this undecided about my team this close to a season starting.

Too much information...........................?

Too much information...........................?
I think so, i also think this is a unique year structure wise. Way more value options and not as many premos that are 'must starts' leading to so much indecision about where to look. The 400-750 guys are just causing havoc on my team.

Opening round adds to it as well.
