Grundy is the absolute best option, Gawn probably next best taking into account value, with English next.

What's Xerri's run like in the last two games? If you can't afford anyone else Cameron for the next four weeks and then upgrading to Grundy / English / Xerri in last two rounds could be a play.

I think Grundy's got even greener with Xerri being out, the NTH orange would be green now.

I had him last year dropped him to waivers before he came back and went well.

Getting FOMO on Grundy.

I can likely afford him next week but will miss his pop score and have to pay even more for him.

If I grab him this week, the best I can afford is $709K... so I'm looking at guys I wouldn't mind having in my team for longer than a week, if carnage were to strike again.

Sam Flanders vs Crows - role unknown, does he get the 3rd or 4th midfield spot behind Rowell/Anderson/Humphrey with Touk's injury?

Playing around with things, and dual position etc, can bring in a midfielder. Gulden, Bont or Steele. How would we rank them for rest of the year.

Gulden is more expensive, so thinking Bont for better value. Steele has a great run of fixtures coming up through and shouldn't get tagged. Gulden playing us this week and could go 150 easily.

Personally, I'd go Gulden, Steele, Bont. But it's a close call. Steele's run home is unreal. Would love to bring him in if I didn't have so much carnage to deal with

I'm still struggling with this call too. I can get Gawn and Whitfield if I trade Xerri and Rozee. But if I hold Rozee and trade Martin, it looks more like Grundy and Mills/Windhager/Cripps (not sure but leaning Mills - 810k max to spend). Then I'd have to turn Mills/Doch into Whit next week with a FOS downgrade. Beyond those two - still have the smaller Helmet twin (Daniel), McCarthy, Darcy looking for upgrades too. I miss 3 trades

Yeah I looked at Toby but didn't factor in he was playing the VFL bombers. Could be a play also. I have 6 forwards + Martin so have some flexibility position wise at least

I don't love any of them TBH and probably want them gone in 1-2 weeks. This is the challenge and why I am still somewhat tempted at Gawn/Whit (though this involves fading Rozee).
Windy with a BE of 38 is at least a free swing in a way (wont lose cash). He tonned up earlier in the year against Cats and Demons (his next 2 matchups)

I think you'd have to hold Rozee at this stage, as much as Whitfield is an awesome inclusion.

Grundy & Mills seems ok to me. They're both up against us. Grundy has to be huge, and Mills should be solid.

Mills/Docherty to Whitfield next week should work, barring another disaster like this weekend just gone.
