Thought I was really clever bringing him a couple of weeks ago. Not looking so clever now. He may have to go up to a proper premo mid soon.
I've had him since Opening Round. Has been a roller coaster. Felt like an idiot Week 1 when he scored 66 (less than Xavier Lindsay who I think I had on my bench, behind Finn O'Sullivan). But then recovered with a 90 against the Eagles, but not great considering the easy match up. Scored really well for what was effectively an 'underpriced premium' across the next 3 weeks - 115 Geelong, 105 Richmond, 101 Doggies, but has now dropped up this absolute stinker.

That Round 1 score and his soft (fantasy) performance against the Eagles confirmed for me he was never a premium I'd hold through the Byes so I was always ready to move if his run got harder or if he dropped a stinker like last night.

It's unfortunate it's happened now when he still has a relatively easy run coming up - Saints, Suns, North, Melbourne, across the next four, but I really don't want to hold him through that entire period with a 41 in his score. He would need to come out and smash a big 120+ to turn his score around or risk him losing a lot of value.

Using DFS' price projector his 41 will make him lost roughly $25k this week (taking him down to $874k) from there even if he's scoring 90's he still drops a further $35k over the next two weeks (Saints, Gold Coast), taking him all the way down into the low 800's before the Geelong and Melbourne games.

You could maybe keep him and hope for an uptick post the Melbourne game - but meanwhile if he puts in poor games against Saints or GC the result is compounded. He could be below 800k if he drops a sub-60 score again.

I think i'll take the opportunity to get him to Naicos this week.

I can change Boyd to Brayshaw C right even after Xerri/TDK play since Boyds not locked out but i obviously cop Boyd over Xerri onfield if hes in correct? Sorry im abit drunk haha.

Correct, but keep in mind if Boyd's a late in (which you won't know till late Sunday) you'll cop Boyds on field score....and have only any Dogs, Saints, Hawks Cats you own to put your C on

Can get Daicos next week with Lash/Maric up and down

Happy to do it just wondering if fading Lashcroft early is the way to go

I started him too. Been a hard watch for sure. Just skirts the packs waiting for the cheapies, doesn't tackle unless the bloke falls into his arms, jogs from contest to contest and goes missing for big patches at a time. I'll give him another chance verse Saints but if he stinks it up again, he's goneee.

I don't think trading Lashcroft is a great idea ...he's got more $$$ to make & looks better than his brother

If Lindsay comes back from the dead this week against Freo, I wouldn't be averse to jumping off Lashcroft early.
Hopefully XL picks up where he left off.
I'd still rather Lashcroft in the better side for my M8 til upgraded.
Struggling who to field this week out of Lalor, Lindsay, Davidson & Cleary..
The latter two are in at this point.

As frustrating as rookie roulette is, you still get the cash gen.

I've got an old player rule. 36 was just too old to trade in but to be fair I think it's been fletcher to half back that's killed him
Or maybe that "sit down and shut your effing mouth for 5 mins" from Fages in this game

It might be the right time, a fraction early, but weigh that against what you get early, He's just had a 63, on an average of 78 priced at $602 going up to around $640/50. BE of 24 going to be more like 50 next week.
