Well done Jordon .....you had but one job yesterday ...puncture Naicos's price
But nah, you couldn't do that could you .....what are you ?

giphy.gif

So is Naicos out of reach now ? ......are Coaches selling Roberts ? ...hell, both Bice and Cleary scored the same, or more at cheaper prices
And then we have now, the introduction of the new wave of DPP positional changes .....Lashcroft, Tracca, and hopefully Chad Warner as FWD's
  • warner - 36.8%
  • Petracca - 42.6%
  • Washcroft - 30.2%
  • N.Martin - FWD 55.4% Mid 44.6%
  • Merrett - 30.5%
  • Dangerfield - 53.3%
  • Touk - 28.1%
  • Lashcroft - 65.1%
Anyone chasing Ned Long after his geat game ? .....if you haven't Cleary aleady, he's a must have

But who are we selling ?

Ned Long article.
Now, this is a great headline + opening line, but we know that articles can be the kiss of death.

Assuming lashcroft gets forward status, ill rotate him and hornefrancis, swap him onto bench for cleary, then shuffle him back into the midfield and put him on field for moraes. This leaves my rookies on field (before trades) as
Def: Bice
Mids: Lindsay, Lashcroft
Forwards: Davidson, Cleary

As long as Henderson scores 50+ I should just be able to go him and NOD to Cleary and Daicos. Have to cull Callaghan this week because of that high breakeven.

The Daicos pop score isn't ideal - won't be able to get to him next week, but want to set myself up to get him the week after.

Looking at Corey Warner down to a low cost rook and Trainor > J Ridley (maybe?) next week, which should leave me with enough in the bank to go Lashcroft/M Reid to Daicos the week after. Bit of thinking to do

Roberts could be on the way out for me, but still early days

Could be Max Hall down to Cleary maybe and then take maybe Trainor to a higher priced defender (Berg maybe? Hopefully I can reach him) and keep Reid on the bench

This is the hard thing about planning upgrades. Trainor for example has at least 3-5 weeks left of making good money and he's also fieldable. Who do we get rid of. If you trade him you're likely losing out on 100k of cash gen.

To upgrade we're gonna have to "go early" on some rookies but that could backfire later. Planning the next couple of weeks I'm struggling to see who I chop. It's Max Hall and then I'm not sure...

I think for the time being Reid and Trainor are fieldable as they are one highly owned and two scoring the same as more expensive options, so the risk is limited, plus as you said, they still have cash to make.

Max Hall is probably the only rookie atm thats downgradable.

As mentioned above Roberts could be moved on despite his tidy score, Miami Bice has changed things scoring wise in that backline

DPP additions will factor in trade scenarios too, could take Dr Davidson up to a Chad or Trac, Danger is probably a miss becuase he's always deep forward plus its Geelong

Yeah, still think you have to do it though - from here forward you have to get into an upgrade/downgrade cadence so some rooks will just have to go early to fund other moves. I've got five rookies on field and if all things go well over the next five weeks (which they won't) the following will be culled to bring in premos:

Trainor, Bice, Reid, Lashcroft, Lindsay, Reid, O'Sullivan, Warner, Stone, Davidson

Some will have to go early but so be it. The sooner you get rookies off the field, the better

Tim Kelly was ok in the wafl but didn't dominate and Hewett is MIA. So I reckon Gross will get a few games, provided they don't get smashed today.

Hutchinson will score well but big sub risk

390 in the bank to start (unless I do a reverse of trades this week, but am less inclined to do so)

Hewett to Cleary seems obvious, and they should be around the same price.
Then probably just put the rest on top of SDK and see where that can get me.

If Garcia has a stinker, then he may need to go instead of Hewett, potentially to Maric if he has a good game.

Maric Rnd 5 - 78
Cleary Rnd 5 - 83

IMO & I have both, Cleary makes more $$$, without sacrificing pts
Posted this when Maric was on track for 100+

Consensus plan for me still appears to be
Hewett to Cleary
SDK to someone around 1.1 mil (either Sheezel or Naicos I think)
