I dont want to plan for any trades in the ruck early on, and i think Briggs is value, same with DCam.Briggs with two difficult match ups then a bye to start.... Trade him in from round 3 imo.

WELL THEN….And Pittonet does a calf at training .....TDK lives !
It gets pittonet past the Curnow doubt period though which was part of the issueTDK has such a good run to start the year, but the risk of Pittonet will still be hanging around all year.
If Pitto misses 3+ weeks that makes TDK potentially a bit awkward.
If TDK is a forced trade in round 5 or 6 onwards when we want to be starting upgrades that could be pretty annoying

Hard to know that at round 1 thoughIt gets pittonet past the Curnow doubt period though which was part of the issue
If Carlton start well, TDK playing well and Curnow and McKay healthy up forward then the risk of Pitto coming in is a lot lower

Agree, if Boyd is named round 1 then imo tdk to Marshall at round 5 or whatever sounds like a decent planAgreed - the thing is though, Marshall is so good and if you can get him at a discount in R5/6 when no one has him it's probably worth a week's lost upgrades in another position, as it's a 20pt upgrade from TDK and a great unique captain option.
Yeah the idea was to utilise Reidy to cover those 2 rucks with byes, Reidy should get a decent run at it.I do like your thinking with starting Briggs/Cameron - just a bummer Cameron has the R3 bye as we're starting to get very thin that week with Mills, Smith, Ashcroft, SDK, Perryman etc. also having the week off.
YES. If Boyd gets injured or dropped, you'll be scrambling for a replacement, and with no basement priced rucks likely playing, you'd have to trade out a premo on another line for a restructure, setting you back.Am I nuts for thinking of going TDK and Boyd in the ruck? The only two rucks who present decent value..
ABBA had a hit many years ago called, "TAKE A CHANCE ON ME"!TDK has such a good run to start the year, but the risk of Pittonet will still be hanging around all year.

Your 70s and 80s references are unrivalled!ABBA had a hit many years ago called, "TAKE A CHANCE ON ME"!![]()
Definitely can't go Boyd R2. Maaaaybe Reidy if you're crazy with Boyd support at R3Yeah I definitely see this happening but it just throws a couple question marks to people considering Boyd R2
Never been in my side .....been on the value train, and Xerri IMO regresses this year .....has a tough early Ruck fixture tooMy morning thought of the day and back what i was considering a while back, leaning going against the grain and not starting Xerri.
He just has such high ownership now as an uber premo that if he starts below that average, it could give such a boost.
Gawn should average within a few points of him if he does fire so nothing lost but is there more to gain on the gamble he has a slower start (105)?
Then TDK to Xerri in rnd 4/5 if Pitto makes his way back.
