I'm one of those who think Brisbane's midfield is arguably more dangerous minus a half crocked veteran Neale. His body hadn't been right lately. A fully fit, uninhibited Neale would be a different story.

Most teams it would still hurt a lot. But all it does is make them use Washcroft, Bailey and Rayner at stoppages more often. They can hurt the Pies fairly slow midfield. Dunkley and McCluggage are A graders in their roles too. But we'll see.

In the last 2 finals series you have been quick to write off Brisbane, and you may well be correct this year.
But they did win the GF last year the hard way, and that is full of merit.
They have the talent to win today, and you would not want the Pies to be slow off the blocks- could be costly

Brisbane are the best team apart from us but they are too banged up. Health is your best friend at this time of year. They are better than Collingwood but for that reason id be surprised if they win.

Given some of the Lions injuries and sore bodies, we're doing very well in comparison. As good as he is, he can be covered.

It's all about our system and we have versatile players who can adapt, not to mention the best coach in the comp.

We're in very good shape.

Not as much as one would think.

Playing Brisbane, it's pretty simple. If we've got pressure on the ball carrier - particularly coming out of defence - and are punishing those turnovers, we'll win running away with it.

If we're not doing that, we could have five Tom Stewart's back there and it wouldn't matter a lick.

Their elite footskills just cut you to ribbons, and relegate any intercept game irrelevant regardless of the calibre of player you've got back there.

Love Tom, and he would certainly help...but he's a cog in the machine rather than the deciding factor this week.

It's much bigger than just him, for better and for worse.

Strangely, there have been examples over the last few years that we actually play better without him. Weird, and maybe just a random anomaly.

Just remember it has zero impact on the result if Geelong supporter or public consensus is at either extreme or exactly in the middle. It honestly doesn't matter and is just a quirk of human nature to attach relevance to it (much like superstitions).

Well I went WWW and the flag, and at no time throughout the finals series have I felt anything but that was a possibility.
I knew we had the hawks comfortably, and I know we have the lions covered come Saturday.
The only consideration is down to simply playing well on the day, all things being equal we walk away Premiers.
