It was open to all members from both clubs. I saw on X that Collingwood supporters ended up with 15,000 tickets

I went to the Sydney prelim in 22 and our supporters were just as loud as the Swans supporters

It helped that 50% of their crowd seemed to have no idea what was going on.

Given we've won the Qualifying Final, the window to register on Ticketek for the Grand Final ballot will be held next Wednesday, September 10 (between 9am to 6pm AEST).

[*] P1 = Legends aged under 70
[*] P2 = Members with 25-49 total years of membership

It's usually the Monday morning after the weekend of Semi Final matches.

I've read the highest ranked gets Friday night for extra day break into the GF. But is that us, as the winner of QF1, or Bris/Geelong as 2nd vs 3rd.

I've read the highest ranked gets Friday night for extra day break into the GF. But is that us, as the winner of QF1, or Bris/Geelong as 2nd vs 3rd.

It'll likely be the Saturday, as we'll play the winner of the 2nd semi final, which will be played next Saturday. They'll try to give teams even days of rest between games. Adelaide will get the 1st semi final on Friday night.

So how does it work for GF tickets? I'm assuming at 9am on Wednesday we all go online and try to register, sounds like a bunch of karens lining up for boxing day sales. Should I expect to be stuck on my phone/computer all day waiting to be registered.

We are family of five and myself, my wife and son (10 years old) are all silver members and assume we can get tickets to prelim? We also have twin girls who are 7 and we purchased them afl membership when they were younger and we only had to pay a once off fee until I think next year when they are “not children” any more and will have to pay annual membership for them. Will they be able to get tickets off their membership?

I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine for the PF. From memory AFL members is first in best dressed for the first 3 weeks of the finals series and then the GF becomes tiered like club members (gold competing>gold non competing>silver competing>silver non competing).

Thanks. I was pretty confident for the 3 of us, but was more worried about the 7 year olds as I am sure I read somewhere that they didn’t qualify for finals just given they were not technically fully paid members. I’m trying to find out from membership . Thanks again.

In 2025, Collingwood will have four (4) Priority Groups for the Member Grand Final ballot:

Priority 1 Plus (P1 Plus)

Priority 1 (P1)

Priority 2 (P2)

Priority 3 (P3)

P1 Plus and P1 Members who successfully register are guaranteed access to purchase a ticket. Please keep in mind that Members across all four priority groups cannot select the location or price category of their ticket(s). This is where the ballot element applies.

P2 & P3 got some, but very little.
Doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily get any this year.

Best chance is if we play Suns, Freo or GWS.

Both have guaranteed GF tickets, but does P1+ get first bite of the cherry and potentially get a lesser seat if mixed with P1?

I understand if you blend Ps it defaults to the lowest group.
