So do P1+ get preferential location over P1 ?
Both have guaranteed GF tickets, but does P1+ get first bite of the cherry and potentially get a lesser seat if mixed with P1?

Asking for a friend.

I understand if you blend Ps it defaults to the lowest group.
P1 Plus and P1 Members who successfully register are guaranteed access to purchase a ticket.

So I have 4 Gold AFL Collingwood Club Support Memeberships and 6 Silver AFL Collingwood Club Support Memberships

The Golds are guaranteed a GF ticket which is fine

But I assume I should register the 6 Silvers in the ballot next week?

Yes.
But do P1+ get first access to the best seats?
I think they do, legends members over 70 get access to P1+ to prioritise access to seating for older members. It also says in the letter “with P1 plus access, these members are given priority access to the best available seats”

Could also mean just the most expensive.

P2 & P3 got some, but very little.
Doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily get any this year.

Best chance is if we play Suns, Freo or GWS.
We can only play Suns, Freo or Lions in a Prelim.

We can only play Cats, Crows, GWS or Hawks in a GF.

GWS have no supporters, they wouldn't fill their allocation of tickets. That's our best case scenario from a ticket availability perspective.

Cats, Crows and Hawks certainly would take all their allocation up.

Anyone across the afl membership scenario??

We are family of five and myself, my wife and son (10 years old) are all silver members and assume we can get tickets to prelim? We also have twin girls who are 7 and we purchased them afl membership when they were younger and we only had to pay a once off fee until I think next year when they are “not children” any more and will have to pay annual membership for them. Will they be able to get tickets off their membership?
If you’re referring to the AFL section then prelim week is not guaranteed for AFL silver members.

All depends on how the AFL designate the match. If its high demand, Gold (all clubs) get first dibs and then maybe they sell any remaining to Silver. If designated low demand then they allow Gold and Silver to purchase together.

So they offer them to all gold members, not just the club support gold members?

Has no bearing at all. I am P1 and got bleacher seats in 2023 and heard of P3 and P2 getting lvl2 prime seats

Rekon we will get access to Member +1 guest for Prelim? It's obviously going to be interstate team and I remember in 23 we could get Member +3 guests in Prelim vs GWS

2023 I was fortunate enough to get a ticket from a BF Collingwood poster who had a spare prelim final ticket, I know it is early but I could see it being a sell out again so if there's anyone who might have a spare one (or 2) come next week when they go on sale I'd be a willing buyer. Cheers

Hey guys,

Hope someone has a screenshot of the seating categories from your game last week as i assume weeks 1 & 2 finals will be the same.

Hawks member here and looking at trying to get tickets to next Friday night, but Ticketek website doesn’t actually show which seats are category 1, category 2..etc

Never been to Adelaide Oval, any recommendations which seats I should aim for?

Cheers :thumbsu:

I received mail yesterday from the club regarding Grand Final registration.

Given we've won the Qualifying Final, the window to register on Ticketek for the Grand Final ballot will be held next Wednesday, September 10 (between 9am to 6pm AEST).

Priority Group
[*] P1 Plus = Club 1892, Legends (age 70+), Member for life (50+ total years of membership)
[*] P1 = Legends aged under 70
[*] P2 = Members with 25-49 total years of membership
[*] P3 = Standard Reserved Seat, Standard Reserved Bay, General Admission H&A, General Admission Home, Flexi-10, Interstate Flexi
[*] Ineligible = ANZAC Day, Flexi-4, Magpie Stars

P1 Plus and P1 categories are guaranteed GF tickets as long they register on the date I mentioned above.

P2 and P3 is subject to any further availability.

Price of Grand Final tickets
[*] Level 2 / Level 1 / Level 2A = $515 (Adult), $438 (Concession)
[*] Level 1 Goal = $490 (Adult), $417 (Concession)
[*] Level 4 Front = $420 (Adult), $357 (Concession)
[*] Level 4 Middle = $370 (Adult), $315 (Concession)
[*] Level 4 Back = $310 (Adult), $264 (Concession)
[*] Level 1 Goal - behind cheer squad = $195 (Adult), $166 (Concession)
[*] Level 4 Back - Goal = $195 (Adult), $166 (Concession)
[*] Restricted View/Standing Room = $165 (Adult), $140 (Concession)

Juniors are classified as concession for the Grand Final.

SEP 10 should be an easy date for everyone to remember to register for Grand Finals tickets!

I believe SEP 10 stands for Scott ‘Elite’ Pendlebury 10.

Go Pies!! 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤

Thanks. I was pretty confident for the 3 of us, but was more worried about the 7 year olds as I am sure I read somewhere that they didn’t qualify for finals just given they were not technically fully paid members. I’m trying to find out from membership . 🤞Thanks again.
I was looking at the jnr membership for my boy earlier this year (didn’t commit yet he’s still a year away) and I swore they had the same finals entitlements to the first 3 weeks, but that was 4 months or so ago so I wouldn’t take that as any sort of knowledgeable advice.

I'm not confident Gold is guaranteed if Geelong is the opponent. Not sure how many members they have in the AFL Members. Hawthorn also a possibility.

I'm glad now though, the entire allocation is for supporting club members first now. I remember it was capped at 60% so other non supporting members had a chance (which I always appreciated given I go every year), but I prefer to have an almost guaranteed Collingwood GF ticket than being able to go other years.

Anyone check the am. Ticketmaster.com/collingwood site for their Grand final registration barcode.
I had the preliminary and Grand final ticket barcodes but the below paragraph from the website makes me think there is a separate barcode for the ballot.

Once finalised, Member barcode numbers for Grand Final ballot registration will be added to this webpage (estimated by COB Fri 5 Sep).

Thanks! I am putting a call into them today to try and get clarity!

The only two clubs with enough AFL Gold Club Support members to potentially "fill" the AFL Members section combined are Collingwood and Carlton

Even then I'm not sure it would be 100% full

Just backing this up Geelong won’t be an issue. They’d probably have the smallest gold AFL member allotment of any Victorian team because AFL membership (to my knowledge) only has an allocated section at the MCG where they host maybe 2 matches a year. If we make it and cop Hawthorn you‘ll again be fine, but if you’re not on the ball or cop a rubbish spot in the queue you could be top deck.

I just called them and freom what the dude told me it's the same barcode you've been using all year for all finals too
