Anyone have issues with their credit card details on ticketek. I had a saved card but it wasn’t there an had to do it manually. Now in the drop down menu of my account there is no payment method option.

I went hunting for something else but found this for your reference from 2023.nowhere on the email does it say it waives guaranteed ticket if you don't select Standing Room
Fingers crossed
EDIT: I was too slow to post, I see it is on previous page. I will leave it here anyway as a new page has been created.
Dear Members,
I wanted to address the ticketing situation regarding the Grand Final ballot which took place yesterday.
As a competing Club, we receive 17,000 tickets which is far from enough for our most loyal Members.
We believe Members who contribute their hard earned should be rewarded with a fair opportunity to witness our team on the biggest stage.
We have been working through the situation overnight and have some updates for you.
Every single Priority One (P1) Member who registered for the Grand Final ballot will receive a ticket to the 2023 AFL Grand Final.
There were 37 P1 Members who did not select the Standing Room option and, as such, missed out on tickets through the automated ballot – we will sort each of those 37 Members directly to ensure they have a seat.
Anyone who is a P1 Member and were given a Standing Room ticket – that will be changed from Standing Room to an Allocated Seat. I want to be clear, Priority Two (P2) and Priority Three (P3) Members were not allocated tickets prior to P1, however, accessible requirement Members were fulfilled yesterday.
We call on Ticketek to improve their system so that the moment funds are taken out of bank accounts, tickets are released to Members immediately.
We have been informed that 700 Members whose credit cards either failed or had insufficient funds are not at risk of losing their allocation. They will be contacted by Ticketek and the Club this morning.
We know Grand Finals are a case of high demand and limited availability which is why we call on the AFL to increase competing Club allocations from 17,000 to at least 20,000 tickets.
We want to assure all Members that we are actively engaging with the AFL, MCC, Ticketek, and other stakeholders to push for changes and improve this system and access for our most dedicated Members.
For other Members and supporters who unfortunately won’t be able to enter the MCG on Grand Final day, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the activity that will be happening around the Club.
We will have two live sites in our precinct on Grand Final Day; the Make it Legendary Grand Final Live Site at the AIA Vitality Centre and another free Collingwood live site across the road at Grand Slam Oval.
We have had to ticket the Live Site at our Club due to liquor licensing laws – this will be $4 (plus Ticketek’s processing fee for Members) and $20 for non-Members.
This week is all about our Collingwood community and our connection with our Members and supporters and we look forward to embracing the week together.
From here, we will keep you informed every step of the way, ensuring that you have the most accurate and up-to-date information.
We thank all Members for their commitment to our Club and we remain committed to delivering for our most loyal supporters.

To be completely frank I think chances of silver members accessing tickets through the ballot or the AFL member allocation will also be remoteSo jealous right now. My membership is much too low a level to register for possible Grand Final tickets (AFL Bronze member with Collingwood club support).
The club did well to ensure those members were looked after.I went hunting for something else but found this for your reference from 2023.
Looks like the club ensured that those P1 members got seated tickets, probably at the expense of stress when the system didn’t allocate them due to the selection.
that sounds stressful!!! I hope I get a seat after not selecting the standing room option.I went hunting for something else but found this for your reference from 2023.

I will be in Melbourne on Grand Final weekend, for a belated birthday trip, so if we make it, hopefully there’ll be a live site at the AIA Vitality Centre, or Fed Square, or even at the Footy Festival outside the MCG that I could watch the game at.So jealous right now. If we're in the Granny, you can guarantee there will be multiple live sites showing it, as there were in 23.I will be in Melbourne on Grand Final weekend, for a belated birthday trip, so if we make it, hopefully there’ll be a live site at the AIA Vitality Centre, or Fed Square, or even at the Footy Festival outside the MCG that I could watch the game at.
I’ve gone as the companion.
There’s a series of single seats with a space beside them for a wheelchair at the back of the terrace at concourse level.
Mine was in the southern stand, 2011.
Decent seat.
Vacant ones left, so back then it would have been easy.
You may have a chance. Or not. Haha.
Id say so yeah as surely they would pick out each group of tickets until allocation is used up so if the group of 6 is too big to complete the remaining spots I'd think they would keep going until a group small enoughI assume if you are P2 for the GF ballot and only in a group of 1 or 2, that increases your chances of being successful in ballot, than say a group of 6
Just registered for myself and Stoods ticked yes to will take standing room. We are P3 though so expecting fork all. We will see haha. If not will watch it at a pub like we did in 2023.
Pretty much yeahBeen an interstate member (P3) for a while and done this dance 5 times now 2018,2019,2022,2023 & 2025 and never got a ticket in the ballot when we’ve made the GF. The closest I got was in 2018 when I got an email on the Monday of the GF to say there was a 2nd release of tickets at 2pm so I logged on and could get a standing room ticket but unfortunately couldn’t get a flight due to all the Eagles w***ers taking them.
So for P3 it’s a donation to ticketek.
This is spot on. Once all successful barcodes are locked and loaded, seats in 2023 and prior were allocated completely randomly. So it was possible for P1 members to get lesser classified seats than P2 for example. However reading the fine print for this year, the situation appears to have changed. There is now a P1 Plus category of priority which is club 1892 and some other long time legends members, and it now says seats will be allocated first to P1 Plus on a ‘best available’ basis, then to P1 members on same basis and so on. So based on this, P1 Plus members will likely chew up a fair chunk of the prime seats, then regular legends members in P1 will get the remainderMy recollection from 2023 was that the prioritisation extended as far as getting a ticket, but the actual distribution of tickets on a quality basis was still randomised.
I presume that the system operated in such a way that if you were allocated a standing room ticket and elected to choose no standing room you were simply bypassed.
Not how I’d set up such a system but that’s how it appeared to have operated. Caveat this with I have no actual knowledge of exactly what went down and just speculating on the basis of feedback on sites like this.
