I mean, yeah it could get you a midfield big dog, but you're still going to need to trade back into an F6 – who out there is clearly better than the ~100 average that Daniel is putting up in his current role?Personally I'm thnking to turn him into an uber after the byes.

Think it's purely a wait and see with him. No point in jumping at shadows before a role change/dropping happens. Your reward for going early is maybe missing one subpar score of his before everyone else jumps off, whereas the risk is burning a trade completely unnecessarily.
If it gets to a point where he has a 150 BE and a role change is flagged, sure. But otherwise it makes no sense to trade any time soon.
Better players for sure (I don't rate Daniel either); however, a 100 average is a 100 average. If the role stays, no reason why he can't keep it up, which has him thereabouts with a few of those guys.JHF
Trac
Macrae
Smith
Warner
Rankine
That's six who will be better than him. I'm a bit biased though, don't like him as a player.
i take your point, and agree with it. And repeat, I'm not suggesting trade him this week.Better players for sure (I don't rate Daniel either); however, a 100 average is a 100 average. If the role stays, no reason why he can't keep it up, which has him thereabouts with a few of those guys.
My point is that you just wait until you know the role is changing - no real benefits to trading before then, unless he starts bleeding bulk cash.

Yeah for sure, I agree that's a fair chance to happen at some point.i take your point, and agree with it. And repeat, I'm not suggesting trade him this week.
I'm just predicting that he will need to be traded out at some point.
I need a way to get Bont and Butters after their bye. I will 100% give up Helmet to do that if he's my best option.Yeah for sure, I agree that's a fair chance to happen at some point.
Think I was just thrown off by your 'trade at the bye' scenario - if he's still averaging 100 at that stage, would you trade based on a prediction that he'll get dropped in the back half of the year, or just wait until it happens?
Yep it adds more, well, FLEXibility, and has saved me from some low player scores every week.So after 10 rounds what are everyone's thoughts about the Flex?
Personally I love it and even though I have a ruck there at the moment I definately think a player with DPP is best.
Has become less relevant as the number of rookies on field reduces. Lashcroft and Z Reid are my 21st and 22nd player, so I'm using flex, not very successfully, to raise cash rather than provide cover. So after 10 rounds what are everyone's thoughts about the Flex?

It's another way to make SC easier to play and harder to catch up if you have a bad start. So after 10 rounds what are everyone's thoughts about the Flex?
