I must admit. I’m not that shocked. There is like a big red sash over a black background. Brighter red hey….? Okay I believe you. To be honest I wasn’t expecting anything less. It just works!

Generally I'm not a big fan of us in red shorts, but as the away team against Collingwood or Carlton I don't mind us wearing them and reckon it actually solves a big part of the clash


These were posted on the Footy Jumpers board not long ago.

Overall we've actually only worn red shorts for a very small period of our 150 odd year history.
We've worn white shorts since day dot and black shorts for over a hundred years.
