Carlton are having some injury issues but their best 22 has more bonafide guns than Hawthorn do.I’m a hawks man but I can’t believe the eagles looked at both lists and decided to take Hawthorns picks not the blues. You can all respond now or wait 6 months but the blues are so one paced. I laughed at the time when I heard the eagles chose the hawks picks not the blues. Blues lost depth last year in Kennedy, Martin and Owies and literally brought in Jagga. He’s a gun and will be a great point of difference for them as he’s fast by foot and brain. Just can’t see how they are better this year than last and despite their easy draw think they might go 2-6 of double ups against to Hawks, Pies, Bombers, Power.

Makes you wonder how the Hawks destroyed them by 11 goals last outing between the two.Carlton are having some injury issues but their best 22 has more bonafide guns than Hawthorn do.
Carlton have Cripps, Curnow, Walsh, McKay (to a lesser extent)
Hawthorn don’t have players of that calibre. Sicily is probably the only out and out ‘superstar’ on your list.
Don’t get me wrong, you have players who could well be that good one day, maybe they even get to that level this season. But Cripps is a dual Brownlow medalist (rightly or wrongly - that’s a debate for another thread) and Curnow is a dual Coleman medalist. Hawthorn haven’t got anyone with those credentials.

Curnow and McKay played in the game we destroyed them in.
Umpires were very biased to Hawthorn, Carlton would have won otherwiseCurnow and McKay played in the game we destroyed them in.
No mention of the reasons why we have owned them the entire careers of the players I mentioned?
Not to mention in that list there are 6 players who would not even get a game for your mob.
Yeah my Carlton supporting mate said the same thing the last 15 years.Umpires were very biased to Hawthorn, Carlton would have won otherwise

Yes. This injury list is from the week after the game you’re referring to. A game in which Carlton lost 5 players to injury and had one player on the bench in the late stages of the game. No wonder you ‘destroyed them’. You had 4 extra players.Curnow and McKay played in the game we destroyed them in.
I really don’t see how that’s relevant to this thread so there’s no point in discussing it.No mention of the reasons why we have owned them the entire careers of the players I mentioned?

I'm predicting Hawks for bottom 4, so am very happy we have your selections.I’m a hawks man but I can’t believe the eagles looked at both lists and decided to take Hawthorns picks not the blues. Sorry if I have missed it but is it confirmed that WC were given the option of choosing between the Blues' or Hawks' picks??
Hawks would have been reluctant to give away Carlton's because they have to back themselves to be better than them in 2025?
In negotiations, the Hawks had given the Eagles the choice of future first- and future second-round picks tied to the Blues or tied to the Hawks. West Coast opted for the latter, essentially betting that Hawthorn will finish below Carlton on the ladder in 2025.
Sam Walsh debuted in 2019.Makes you wonder how the Hawks have owned them the entire time Cripps, Curnow, Walsh, McKay have been playing.
I'm pretty sure squashface now owns TazHawk15 too.Sam Walsh debuted in 2019.
Since then you have each won 3 games against each other.
It would appear you each have 50% 'ownership' of each other.
