Doesn't add up for me. Their KPF stocks are garbage and their midfield is lacking depth. They don't have enough top talent (as they traded out of the draft too many years or bungled the picks they had). Maybe they scrape into the 8 again, but it could just as easily be a fall down the ladder from a harder draw and ganeplan being found out. Ken Hinkley cracked it open in the final (it was only dodgy umpiring that made it close) and other teams would have taken note.
I have them finishing 15th.

for all of those reasons and the great run with injury I have them around 7-8th, but you are correct that they could fall down the ladder, all good for WC!

I'm all for wanting Hawks to get f*cked over but I'd rather eat my own vomit than see Carlton win the flag (which I highly doubt anyway).
I have the Hawks finishing 19th and Carlton being struck from the competition thus not having draft picks next year.
