Last player got 4 weeks so you would think he gets at least that. It would be funny if he misses a Grand Final because of it.
I could see it derailing the Crows if that's what happens. Yes it's only 1 player but he's a very important player.

This will be the AFL's handling of the situation*^:
Here Izak have a 4 week ban, you can miss North, we will count the league bye as another week, miss the first final and then either miss the Semi or we will count the week off again as another week and you can be back for Preliminary Final week (assuming Crows make it).
*May or may not be true who knows with the AFL

It's just straight corruption if he gets less than 4 really. But the AFL has form for letting players off in the finals. Cotchin and Maynard come to mind and there will be others I can't remember.

Cotch and Maynard they could bend the matrix to allow it to happen. AFL would argue that the football actions are different in every circumstance but then also argue they aren't when trying to get someone suspended.
Something like this much tougher as it is exactly like all other incidents its a word/phrase directed at someone so there really are no ifs or buts if he is found to have said what is reported.
