Don’t like to see any injury on any person any sport but not the end of the world with Grundy imo

Thibk he is very overrated ruck besides his glory couple of years

Very overrated? Really? I can't agree. Maybe somewhat overrated following his best years, which gave him more after-glow than he deserved, but he was bloody good for us last year. Rucks can carry on for many more years than most. Look at Mumford.

I think Grundy is still a very good ruckman but he clearly carried too much last year so a slower intro into the season wouldn't hurt him. Maybe it gives Ladhams another chance to show he's learned something. And if he's learned nothing then maybe there's someone Ladhams can get stuck into when his red mist descends? Maybe he'll cut loose on Brisbane.

Mills & Grundy (& Parker) gone is quite a bit of leadership gone in a hit... Grundy out will heap even more onto Heeney's shoulders in the middle.

Good point. Who should we put on Heeney's shoulders to take over the ruck?

I'm hopeful & optimistic about Cox for a number of reasons. But every coach I've ever seen has played injured & underdone players before, so I struggle imagining Cox will be any different in this regard.

Last year we had a good run with injuries and our fitness guru from last year is now at Carlton...is he a worse fitness guru now with all the injuries they've sustained early on or is it just unfortunate incidents

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I'd rather lose one great player to injury than like 4 or 5 decent ones to injury.

If we can get Grundy, Papley etc. OK and then get Mills back after the bye without getting fresh injuries then I think we'll be fine.
