This could be the best thing for Todd. Unless he kicks himself in the head with the moonboot it will mean at least 18 months between head knocks. That should ensure he doesn’t become a McCartin. The brain does better if there is a gap between head knocks.

McCartin retired due to concussion at the end of 2019, started playing football again in 2021 and was forced into retirement again due to concussion in 2023 (from an incident involving Todd, weirdly enough).

The time off won't hurt but it doesn't guarantee anything.

It's pretty wild that this clubs track record for dishonesty and obfuscation makes me wonder if this is actually concussion time off rather than his achilles. 🤷‍♂️

Fair point, we’ve withheld plenty of injury info in the past but this would be next level but wouldn’t put it past them.

If true though, a year off is probably a good thing for him and what most here were advocating for Todd anyway.

Fourth slide shows how he got the injury.

Find something else to do Todd. This game isn't for you.

He has gone from concussion by brushing contact, to achilles rupture by summer breeze.

Hi All,

I thought I read somewhere that Soldo is injured. Can anyone confirm if he is out for a while?

Thinking Sweet could be a good option to start as a ruck in SuperCoach.

Cheers
