The rot was there from the GWS game last year. One decent showing (vs Cats this year) in 23 consecutive games now. Today’s result unfortunately was not out of the realm of possibility and well and t eh it on the cards based on respective form lines leading in. Looking forward to pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete and shut down for this year and stage of the club. Next chapter please.

Today's result is the consequence of pathetic list management that has delivered a plethora of unskilled players to the club. The fact that "Sack Voss" has been far louder than "Sack Austin" indicates our supporters over rate the list. Voss will be gone but a new coach with a list that is incapable of implimenting a new game plan is not the answer

Whether he stays till the end of year or not that's the end of Voss.

Let's be honest, it's a bad sign when you need to hire a "strategy" assistant coach to cover up for your new senior coaches weaknesses from day dot. Strange appointment, expected result.

Good luck to Wright.

His job isn’t to be a saviour or bring in saviours. Tried that, didn’t work.

Find the right people for the jobs, people who can think about the game and be two, three steps ahead of where the game is evolving, and implement standards that works towards it.

It has to be

Graham Wright should tell him to pack his office on Monday

Season is over anyway

Just pull the bandaid off

Insipid from almost everyone involved. Voss just has to go. You don't need to go to Specsavers to see that.

He is tactically inept. If he needs better assistants for that then we may as well make the assistant a senior coach. His game plan is trash in this day and age of footy. Sure the players don't help but it's on the coach to work out how to get the best out of the players. One thing i do know is i remember when Teague wanted more defence in his game plan the players did not react well to that at all. These players are 1 way runners. They all want glory but none want to defend. There is maybe at most 4 players I would want to keep not including the younger players.

I’ve supported this club since 1979 and have given everything I could as a member from going to games in the dark days right through to the now.

Why should I along with other members who have done the same or more put up with this insipid rubbish.

I’ll always support them but im taking a break for awhile as this is now affecting my mental health.

I (we) don’t deserve this.

I’ve really enjoyed the banter with everyone and wish everyone here all the best.

I agree with you totally but both are to blame. I seen worst lists than ours get better results purely because the coach knows how to get the best out of the players.

I just don't get how a bunch of dudes who haven't had any success can roll out there and seem to be going so half hearted and like they don't want it as much as the opposition.

Yes, I know, at a team level, culture. But on an individual level I just struggle to comprehend it. Unless the pay packet and going home to play Call of Duty is all they care about.

I am utterly sick and tired of our slow fumbly ball movement and in particular, slow predictable switches where we occasionally mark on a wing and virtually go back to the goal square before we try and go forward and regularly get strangled for a stoppage or turn it over. It’s beyond ridiculous.

I’ll say it. Charlie Curnow thinks he’s a lot better than he actually is.

Hasn’t turned up the past month. Hardly fired a shot this year apart from a few glimpses.

Doesn’t chase or tackle and gives up contests when it’s not to his advantage.

He’s too good for that, or so he thinks.

This will be remembered as the day the players quit on Voss.

Ratten: GC game late 2012
Bolton: Essendon game mid 2019
Teague: North game late 2021 (Larkey kicking 7)
Voss: North game late 2025

Yep there is definitely a pattern there and seems to come when coaches ask the players to play more defensive. Maybe i am reading into it too much but certainly suspicious.
