Different people in the club have different roles/access to different info, I’m the first one to say take my info with a grain of salt and I think I’ve even recently said no intel is guaranteed or can be guaranteed it won’t change.

I would also never claim to be an ITK as I’m not.

My other source never said “he has signed for 4 years”, as I said he was confident it was going that way so I didn’t post anything on here until I heard more and nothing eventuated.

I’ll keep any new info from here on out to myself though.

But that was always gonna happen - Adelaide-based manager with SA clients, of course he has a duty to stay in the good books of Adelaide and Port, for the sake of his business.

He was always going to suggest that route, same way he did with JHF. He made Port happy in that deal, and couldn't give a stuff if North were pissed with him. Same thing happening here.

Port (President or CEO or whoever) did them a huge disservice by saying Butters is staying put.

I don't really want to engage in the Butters v. NAS value debate, but Butters would be the starting point and is what we need as a top tier mid. Taking him off the table just shows they are not serious; there's no way they can put together a package of picks that would satisfy.

If he goes then I think some kind of come-from-the-clouds deal with Adelaide is more likely.

According to this thread Nas must speak to dozens of people every day about his plans.
In reality, I very much doubt he's relaying any information to that many people.
If, and its a big if, he has already made up his mind then I think only 1 or 2 people would actually know. So let's not get carried away by any itk's or whoever else is claiming to know.
I think he'll stay, and it's okay if he doesn't make that decision until after the season. He's currently playing career best footy, I'm sure he actually does want to just concentrate on his game and continue to improve and not spend all his free time talking to people about where he'll be playing next year.
