Wow the kid has been a revelation and it wouldnt surprise if he has grown, but his reach was always exceptional. It doesnt matter how tall they are if the can grab the ball and kick goals, in a lot of ways his extra mobility makes him more dangerous. Kudos to Brisbane for taking him @ 31 when we took Collard at 28 it looks like an exceptional pick by them and huge reach from us.
Collard was actually rated by most outlets to go in the teens so did drift on draft night.

Morris has been an excellent pick up for Brisbane. That doesnt change that we already have plenty of his type on our list so understandably went for a position we had less of.

Just doing some reading on the pre season draft. I don’t think nas can refuse medical sat other clubs because the afl would consider that draft tampering. So I doubt any club can just walk him to the draft. He can choose to sit out for 12 months but that would cost him 1.4 mil. Also I would destroy Ben Williams reputations. Or am I dreaming?

The way Nas sprints around the ground, runs and leaps, I doubt an club would be worried about Nas medically.

Ball was an issue as he had been injury hampered for some time.

As an addendum, let's not forget that Nas literally said at the end of the game that the club and manager are working it out.
Cmon man, no one believes players and club legends......only media pundits who have no idea and want a story

Sharman is doing his role at St Kilda. Logan is younger, but Sharman has been an excellent and cheap pick up from the MSD.

My thought exactly - get Brisbane's midfield dominance, make Sharman the second main forward and he kicks 40+

He'll kick over 30 this year alone playing as the main target for a lot of the season. He'll go to another level when King is back

Because you, dear sir, are talking absolute dribble from your mothers basement and are obsessed with trying to have anonymous people on a footy forum believe you are some magical ITK unicorn.

Get some sun champ
What did I say was dribble?

I literally gave you the post.

Your previous complaint was that I’m on here 24/7 and I have a million posts. 😂 I did the work for you.

Now go run along and play make up. We will all hope Friday 12:30 comes true.

Sincerely,

Magical unicorn 🦄

My issue is that we've looked like a shambles on field quite often.

It get's forgotten in the glow of the Melbourne win and young players improving but we have been TERRIBLE at times this year.

I want to see a huge focus on skills this preseason.

If we don't turn it around next season I hope they hand the keys to Enright. Let him bring in assistants of his choice etc.
18 - 20 odd years olds - we would.
Honestly we expect so much from our young players.

Yes. Agree. Skills, skills and more skills.
And goalkicking practice for Mitch!

This couldn't be coming from the poster that thought they were ****ing hilarious and patted themselves on the back for trolling their own supporter forum ?

That would be ludicrous, couldn't be the same....
Literally proved how easy it is to convince people on here that you know something by posting 4 ambiguous posts

If the trade doesn’t get done we lose him for nothing
Not that it would happen but there's one party who would want the PSD option less than St Kilda and that is Nas.
Imagine not ending up in Adelaide, leaving a club that you're very happy at and still living in Melbourne or having to move to Perth.

From the min 30 mark.

So, I wasn’t there. But I’ve had a few people all tell me the same thing.

Bruce Eva was our MC for the clubs pre game function. Mission was the club guest.

Bruce asked who would be wearing #7 next year.

Missions response: we are all hopeful who, but as Ross says in the fullness of time.

Apparently after the event ended Eva was openly telling people who asked that from what he was hearing - the club were starting to get confident.

So, something changed in our favour in the last week

This. The loss of King not only stuffed us with his personal output, but structurally stuffed us because King then gets the best defender, Sharman second best and Owens third best. There is a big difference between copping Steven May for Sharman.

The club has been openly confident from the start though 🤔

I just think it's worth pointing out the system puts a team in our situation at a clear disadvantage should Nas decide to leave.
100%
Something we are all very sadly aware of.
And extremely anxious about.

Not sure what exactly you are doubting with that.

They have been negotiating for months.

You can still be confident he will sign and get bogged down in the fact it hasn’t happened yet, we are in August.

They have gone round and round with Williams and thought they “had got their man” per Caro and 2 weeks later he walked it back.

There are ebbs and flows to the process. It could be as simple as meaning that momentum is back on our side to get a deal done after both Williams and the club aired some laundry to Morris.

I hope Bruce was told something else because that comment from Misson doesnt inspire much confidence.

Just a little reminder from Max Gawn that it’s about loving the club not the individual which is paramount
All very well.
But when you have been as unsuccessful a club as we have for 150+ years, its quite understandable that we really put a lot of emotion into our ( few and far between) star players. Heaven knows we need something to keep us excited and intyerested.
