Just looking at the forward line, I'd love to add another weapon up there. If Collard is keen to go home, would something like Collard and a F3 for Ryan work? Just feel like he could really improve us.

There are guys on the list that can be much better (King obvs, Henry) but it just feels like a gamble to rely on what we have.

King, Marshall/TDK, Owens, Sharman, Higgins, Henry, Ryan. Too tall maybe?

He’s doesn’t have his sons real best interests at heart if he is encouraging an adult to come home. If I remember he was the one that told nas to resign with us.
This is what he said yesterday!!
Before that I had heard the same, that Terry encouraged him to resign, but quite obviously not 100% correct.

The bloke is tearing it up and being one of the top 3 players in the competition with us. Stay with us the future is certain, Brownlow media contention, huge money and the chance of becoming a superstar of the game.

Why risk it all and go to a different club.

I agree. Nas is thriving now largely because he is our designated 'make something happen' guy. If he calls for the ball, most of the time he is getting it and he has licence to go anywhere.

If he goes to Port he might not even be playing midfield. And even if he is, he will be joining a stacked midfield and won't be the teams' entire game plan like he is now.

Adelaide is a similar story.

🤣 Well said.
Jesus, I just don't get this "homesick" nonsense at all. It's Adelaide...not the f*cking frozen Tundra of Greenland.
In the modern world one can talk to and see their family through all sorts of modern mechanisms. It's not like you have to raise pigeons and attach little notes to their tiny f*cking legs hoping the Golden horde of Ghengis Kahn doesn't shoot it down to feast upon its flesh and find out where you live. Times have moved on...possibly even improved depending on opinion.
Be a grown man, Be your own man.
Mum will still be there.
He can buy his own jet for $2 million a year and get back to Adelaide in 45 minutes

Up until yesterday I was confident Nas would stay.
My son & I came over from SA for the game, a mate of mine from Melbourne used to sponsor Terry Milera, Nas’ family were over & we spoke to Terry after the game. Obviously he did not say Nas is staying or going, but his exact words were “we just want him closer to home.”
Take that as you will, but obviously his family are pushing for him to go back to SA.

This is such a selfish take from a family. Treat your son like an adult, support his goals and encourage him to be the best version of himself. He wasn’t born to live your version of his life. He was born to live his.

I wonder what their thoughts would be if neither Adelaide club were interested in him because he was just a depth players?

How would you know that he doesn't have his sons best interest at heart , you just want what's best for you , just let the kid decide

Damn. If that is the case it’s much worse than I thought as well. Hopefully Port win all their remaining matches (which they won’t) and finish above us (which they won’t) so our negotiation position will be stronger with respect to the PSD.

If he gets to the PSD, he goes to WC. We will accept whatever meager trade we can wrangle from Port. My guess is something like 2025 second rounder, 2026 first rounder and Berry or Bergman

Sorry mate , none of your points make any sense , all the things you pointed out would be exactly the same in SA , tell me which one of them couldn't occur in Adelaide ?

Sure we all want him to stay but lets not make out that if he goes back to SA that he will all of a sudden be a no body

How is Dan Houston going since his move?
Same for Nas is a possibility

Watching TDK go about it last night l reckon he will shift the needle for us. Our midfield is also starting to look better as the kids come on and it's obvious we're suffering from a lack of height due to key injuries. Fingers crossed King can play a meaningful role but if we can land our targets and keep Nas we'll be set to go in 2026.

When he cared, and he had a crack he changed the course of the game.

Our own generational talent in YEARS. Every suffering Saints fan can see a light at the end of the tunnel because of this kid. It’s all gonna be pulled under our feet because his parents want him closer to home? That’s the lamest and most St. Kilda thing I’ve ever heard.

If he leaves I won't ever watch the other team play with him in it, just can't do it after the emotional rollercoaster of the last couple of seasons. Ever since I saw him run take a run along the wing in Launcestion vs Hawthorn last year I knew we had something really special.

I really really hope the club can find a way to secure him.

It doesn’t sound great for us right now if we consider what saxond74 & Jase Burgoyne said in his press conference after re-signing.

Jase’s line of ‘Nas will do what’s best for his family’
& Terry’s ‘what just want him closer to home’

at the point, I feel that if he stays it’s because we aren’t satisfied with the proposed trade/s and I would expect if it is that he just wants to return home, he nominates the state and not the club.

Let's just wait and see. It is strange though if internal communications from the club are that we are confident he stays. I still think he stays.

What pussies. A family of softcocks.

Why do they need Nassie boy home so bad? He the one doing chores?
