All I can say is if the SA teams are being kept in the dark, Nas and his manager are making a difficult situation even worse if he chooses SA at last minute considering both will need to scramble to find a deal. More time you give a Port/Crows will increase likelihood of a trade.

If Terry is seriously saying that to a stranger then maybe they've accepted that he isn't coming home. If he was then I really doubt he'd be saying that.

My confidence is growing that he will re-sign. Just really hoping it's for four years and not two. Lock in the cash Nas!

As an afterthought might need to do a wellness check on the Port board when it happens.
Very interesting that they were at the footy yesterday.
A week ago someone on here mentioned that his folks were going to be in Melbourne for the North game, while another person mentioned it my be to sign a contract

The player knows
His management knows
1 of the clubs know

Theyre all just keeping quiet.

All three clubs think they've got their guy apparently.

I think all indicators say it's us. Tony doubling down and Saint's officials hinting at Williams being a knob.

Williams obviously telling SA teams that he is up for grabs and using as leverage to keep pumping us for dollars.

If he's leaving surely his manager would have to tell us as a trade will need to be organised.
Not if he's trying to figure out if a trade can be accommodated. The delay could be that Port can't figure out if they do have the assets necessary. It's easy saying I want you go home, harder to get there.

His manager is obviously trying to protect him from media fall out.

Contracts can't be signed yet either. Trade week is ages away.

I think we'd keep him on a one-year deal but if a suitor came knocking with some draft picks worth DVI points to help us match a bid for our NGA player then we'd definitely consider it IMO
Can match a bid from pick 36 onwards with our next pick, even if that was pick 90. We dont have to worry about points because Kye ain't going before then.

I hope you are right.

First time I've seen an out right match winning mid at St kilda in a loooonnngg time.

I would not be surprised if there was a value adding documentary being produced in the background of all of this. The manager is dragging it out in order to delay the decision and create the drama. 🎭
Soon on Prime - The Decision!

Unless we are the only club where everything leaks, wouldn't we have heard by now if the SA clubs were shopping for trade currency with the rest of the AFL. Draft positions at the pointy end are just about locked in, they will need something in there to even have a sniff

This is the least surprising thing I've seen on Big Footy this week 😂
the dude your opinion GIF

The rumour is that Windy/Agent are asking for north of $850k a year.

We want to keep him but the difference could be 150-200k in offers.
Not paying that for Windy sorry
Up until yesterday I was confident Nas would stay.
My son & I came over from SA for the game, a mate of mine from Melbourne used to sponsor Terry Milera, Nas’ family were over & we spoke to Terry after the game. Obviously he did not say Nas is staying or going, but his exact words were “we just want him closer to home.”
Take that as you will, but obviously his family are pushing for him to go back to SA.
If true we are cooked

Type “Heath”

Interesting reading from page 3ish onwards.

Dodson is an entirely different argument that people have created off a good little vfl spell.

He looks like he'll be a gun and we have a couple of back ups on top of him. Dodson could probably play round one next year. Looks like Jackson.
