SOS in my mind has had a preference on picking guys he has drafted previously drafted or been involved with. Whether it’s a confirmation bias, laziness, ego , pride or something else. After Carlton and his going after junk giants players I thought maybe he had learnt. Then he proceeded to go after

His biases extended to his drafting imo. That’s a discussion for another day.
At the blues he brought in all the giants crap. It’s a bad pattern imo. I think he’s an unreasonable hard ass.

We find a professional recruiter for the first time in twenty years and Lyon’s nepotistic appointment and his work shirking off sider leak talent faster than we can recruit new ones. Saints are doomed by our own incompetence

Are they though? Last year Battle sent us backwards. This year TDK and Aleer are coming in are going sideways. Any improvement is happening inside our club at this point and we look like we’ll leak talent faster than we replace it.

Battle had a long term big money deal on the table all season. He chose not to sign it. I get not liking SOS but trying to blame him for that is a bit ridiculous.

We dont know what TDK and Aleer will be yet. They might be a disaster or they could be the missing links given our issues with height all year. It might be old fashioned but maybe lets wait for them to first, arrive and then second, be terrible before we call it a disasterous list management move.
