Of course everything is pure speculation at this point. We know a lot of journos are scumbags seeking clicks so that helps one maintain their sanity during these trying times.

However wouldn’t it be wonderful, and hilarious, if these unsubstantiated pile ons by the media actually have the opposite effect and work to further solidify and motivate the playing group?

Yeah to me this is very concerning. Speaks of a club that is not aligned. No doubt Wilkie will come out and say it's bullshit. But to have the vice captain questioning list management out in the open is a huge worry.

Or these are necessary growing pains that are coming from a reasonable place and the club as a whole needs to have the hard conversation as we grow and change to align ourselves heading into the future.

I have been questioning our leadership for the best part of 10 years. If nothing is said by him, then im more than happy for Wilkie to jog on back to SA as far as im concerned. True leaders would set the tone for their club, not let it get dragged through the mud especially if your own name is involved and it was all BS.

What I see is good drafting with no access to top 5 picks.

1 star player in NWM and 1 potential star in Alix, maybe Pou if he gets his body right.

FWIW, Connor’s agency manages 150+ players.

Salary dump would be amusing (not to be confused with bemusing) - was Cerra a SOS acquisition at carlscum? lol, don’t think so, but possibly.

Like CJ, depends on the cash. Think neither are very likely tbh, but there have been rumblings we are into some players aside from TDK, Aleer.
