That one I am a bit iffy on too but I heavily suspect it is almost entirely related to Ben Williams.
Seems unusual though. If the club and Nas know, then surely BW knows too. Hard to understand how it does him any favours, would be a great story for his management to run with.

Probably about time to read the room.
Yeah, even Rucci takes time to read the room

Koch will stop buying him stuff as soon as it's announced.

I’ve said for 12 months, give me Draper and Curtin.

Which is roughly the same as Kennedy and pick 3. Curtin probably more proven.

It just won’t Happen.
You’ve actually been saying Nas is staying 😂
This place is like a loonie asylum, I suggest everyone give it a break until Nas makes it offical that he’s going home.

We all know TDK is leaving because he hasn’t signed, Nas is no different.

I’m not saying he is going. I’m saying in hypothetical trade scenarios. Give me Draper and Curtin.

The going to Adelaide story is a click bait special - Im pretty confident Nas's choice will be between us and Port.

Very important to note whether this article assumes that Nas prefers Adelaide IF he leaves St Kilda, or if he genuinely is leaning Adelaide over St Kilda

It does not specify either and we know journos love writing for clicks
Sorry but did you read it properly ? Think you’re reading it how you want to .. it clearly says crows have firmed as his club of choice and what was viewed as a two horse race between port and saints is now a 3 with the crows in front

Firmed as his club of choice.

But can still go port or stay at Stkilda.

That is an amazing bit of journalism

I think the story is entirely fabricated, but if there is a source it's more likely than not Nas' manager (probably doing it without Nas' say-so).

Ben Williams gets marked as a bit of a rube who somehow stumbled into Nas by luck, but it's not the case - he manages a bunch of high profile players and will be pretty savvy.

I am sure he has figured out the Port deal basically cannot get done and the PSD is way too risky - if it happened I would lol forever if North picked up Nas as low key revenge at Port for the JHF situation. He has to try and float the Crows as a possible destination as a bargaining chip with us since they could facilitate a deal (even if they won't).

Was more referring to the posters insinuation is the article would be if he chooses to leave st kilda where it’s clearly not written about if he chooses to stay or leave it’s written about which club he is likely to choose to play for period

The report contains a logical contradiction: claiming Nasiah is simultaneously “leaning towards joining Adelaide” and “hasn’t come to a definitive decision.”

These statements are mutually exclusive - “leaning towards” indicates he has formed a preference or inclination, while “hasn’t decided” suggests he remains completely undecided. You cannot be both inclined toward a specific option and genuinely undecided at the same time.

As others have pointed out, the contradiction is obvious: You cannot lean without having made some level of decision about your preference. “Leaning” IS a form of preliminary decision-making - it means you’ve weighed options and one is currently favored.

It’s like saying someone is walking north but hasn’t decided which direction to go. The act of leaning toward something inherently requires having made at least a provisional judgment between alternatives.

This contradiction isn’t accidental; it’s calculated journalistic hedging - essentially an each way bet that allows the hack to claim accuracy regardless of the outcome. If Nasiah joins Adelaide, they can point to “leaning towards,” but if he goes elsewhere, they can cite “hasn’t decided” to cover themselves. The reporter is attempting to front run an official announcement while using weasel words to avoid accountability if wrong.

This lets them generate clicks with breaking news headlines, creating the impression of inside knowledge without actually committing to anything concrete.

You have put a lot of effort into that post, but you can lean towards joining one club without making a definitive decision.

I know I've been in similar head spaces when making big decisions in my life and I'm sure if you think hard you would have too.

So it’s not an exclusive is it. It’s a thought in your head. It may happen, it may not.

It’s just nothing.

It doesn’t get us closer to the players supposed decision seeing as he could have another thought later tonight about port and after his morning shit back at the club tomorrow, it might be about us.

Maybe he’ll ask to play for all 3 clubs going forward.
