Having Nas sign on for another 2 years is Watershed Moment.

If he had of went, and we had gottem unders, it could have snowballed in other players going as their contract came up for renewal, and players from other Clubs not joining us.


Nas committing will allow us to enter 2026 with some momentum. TDK will definitely sign now.
Just need Max to get his knee right for 2026 Campaign.


Hopefully we can get some other deals done too. But the 2$million per year deal is going to mean that our War Chest is very depleted.

Agree, this should trigger some positive momentum. Up to the club to use this to build for next year. Potential recruits will be able to consider the opportunity to play with NAS for at least 2 years.

TDK is even more important now.
We’ve seen what Marshall can do with us and we’re not a finals team.

TDK is genuinely at his best as good as Marshall around the ground and a better ruck man.

Now that we’re keeping Nas we need to go all in these next two years.

In saying that yes 1.7m is way too much for TDK but he makes us a better team.

Starting to wonder will he stay or go? Gut says heading to Adelaide but, i really hope he stays.

Club needs to start working now.

maybe port are stuck down the bottom of the ladder. maybe adelaide shit the bed.

This is a such a turning point for our club. We now have a genuine star, and a bunch of up and comers, to build an actual tilt at a flag with. Add TDK and a fit King, and we could shoot up the ladder next year for sure.

This may be a stretch, but I think both the hiring of Lyon, and the fact that we didn't tank for picks at any point, has played a part in this re-signing. We're actually building a culture for a change, and I can only imagine that if Ratts or Richo had of been at the helm, Nas would have left for sure.

Bring on the next 2 years, and the next 2 after that. We're going forward for a change. The players at our club know this, hopefully we can start to convince players from other clubs (I'm looking at you, Zac Butters) as well
