That doesn’t deny the interest.

It’s a very nuanced wording.
Yep. The fact that we extended the corpse of Jamie Cripps for a year suggests that Ryan might be moving on too. Gavin Bell (GM football) also just did an interview thst was far from convincing that he’ll be at WCE.

That stavro#4 .... is a fair point
Of which I agreed.

But he also wasn’t the first person to break this interest. It was also reported in gettable from memory. (Not just the HSun and Sen)

So it’s likely Timid has jumped the gun on where it’s at. Not that it’s genuine interest.

That’s all my point was.

On Liam Ryan...

Regardless of whether he'd be an asset, with TDK coming you'd think the front six +1 would include King, Marshall, Sharman, Owens, Higgins, Hall and... a pressure forward. Is Ryan a pressure forward or more like Max Hall or Jack Higgins?

I don't think we're bringing in TDK to play small. Sharman on a third defender, Owens on a fourth... good luck. I can see that plan. Not sure I see it with Liam Ryan, although happy to receive more information.

Really important to note following The Boss on Agenda Setters is the current media landscape just throw shit at walls and see how much sticks. No rigor or process involved. Then you have some media flog thinking contrition is ' I wasn't wrong but here is a tidy $7 dollar membership as my apology '

This applies to rumors the are perceived to work in our favor too. Let the Port and Crom boards be a lesson to all of us, just sit back and enjoy the show :tearsofjoy:

Need to catch up on 10 pages, been sleeping while you kents crap on 😉.

One thing from the Agenda Setters that Ross said, that the trade would have been very nasty and 'some things you don't trade'.
So the PSD threat was very real and the real loser was not either Adelaide clubs but WCE.
Let that sink in Port or Crom lurkers. If he wants to go next time, that is a shot across your bows.

Just my opinion, but if the club is trying to snare Liam Ryan, I believe it's because they see him as upgrade on Butler and that Max Hill is going to be mainly a midfielder going forwards.

Also, Ryan is a marking, leading small forward more than a crumbing small forward. If we get everyone on the park, there would certainly be plenty of options and versatility.

I’m a bit worried about the chips in approach to be honest

We’ve barely beaten Essendon Richmond North and Melbourne and were the only team to lose to the Eagles.

Just need to keep drafting properly and building the list
We will still hit the draft this year with our first rounder, but it looks like we are trying to be competitive before the Tassie draft hits. You don't want to be bad at all but especially when an expasion team enters the league. Cripples you for years unless you find some diamonds

A fit Pou and fit King for this season, and I think there is a number of games we lost would have been wins. King was a massive loss for our forward structure. It might be a huge call, but I think if he played a full season, we could have made finals.

It's definitely scary because we as fans have been let down so much the past 15 years

But the current coaching staff and admin have done nothing to indicate incompetency so far - much the opposite tbh. I'm just gonna back them in

We had eight first or second year players play against Essendon on Friday night.

Our team make-up was not much different to them. The match result was not surprising.

All of those first or second year players are either best 22 already or are pretty close.

Kye Fincher is likely to arrive and he looks like another talent to add to the list.

We honestly don't really want to go much younger than we are.

We want to add TDK, Aleer, Max King, Phillipou...possibly even Dougal to the side and off we go.

We have built the base and now it's time to flesh the team out, while still picking up the odd talent along the way.

We don't want to be North Melbourne, who keep going back to the draft, perpetually stay young and achieve nothing.
