I'm happy to accept he's made some good points, and provided a lot of reading for us.

He can work on his delivery though. His abrasive and repetitive posts are just coming across as high and mighty trolling.

The main point is: no one in this forum knows with certainly what the numbers and structures of the contracts are.

What the media reports is irrelevant.

Only SOS and co knows and I'll trust them over anyone in this forum to manage it.

So in footy terms, are you saying he gets enough of the ball but needs to lower his eyes when kicking into the forward 50 rather than just blazing away?

It was a few cheap stats at times but he did get 3 Brownlow votes in a game.

We do have a vacancy in the half-back area.

Might be worth a crack if we are sorted up forward or we want to build his confidence.

Yeah I'm happy to try anything to get him into the team - has too much talent to be wasting away in the 2s

But with reference to gringo's comment on him playing his best footy on a wing - I just don't think that's true at all but each to their own

Yeah there were games where he had 40% CBAs. I don't think it really matters where he lines up though - its the around the ground stoppages and marking contests where I think he can be elite in at his best

Henry is looking like a genuine concern at this point. I hope his injuries aren't permanent. He looks so far off still. King looks positionally like a huge boost. Add 3 goals per game and we probably nab a few more wins this year. Howard probably as big an addition. We look a tall short.

Don’t you think that was some of the thinking behind getting TDK?
Based on our usual injury “luck”, and our two KP players who were out for a year, and badly missed, a little extra height insurance, being able to use him or Marshall forward can only be a good thing.
I also think Marshall’s body is not 100%, nor will be, which is why I’m not unhappy with TDK while Dodson builds into the role.

I thought we took Barratt before Shanahan--my mistake. I wouldn't have sacrificed Tauru or Trav for him.
