In reality the argument with that Reid offer (which again, I doubt is real) is the same as the TDK one.

Won’t pay Windy an extra hundred k, won’t give Nas $2m for 2 years.

Will give TDK $1.7m will give Reid $2m and change for 12.

If you like those offers that’s one element. If you can’t see how your current crop might be a bit aggrieved then I’m not sure what to tell you, maybe don’t get into list management.

Saints don't make those ridiculous offers, its not part of our core. "Strength through Loyalty", that's our core... it always has been.

We should have lockéd Battle down early with a solid, well over Hawthorns offer. A big d&&K offer, like when you are at an auction when you blow all bidders out of the water with your first bid.

Same should have been done with NAS and Windy. Lessons are not being learnt

But we go for a mediocre, lets wait until the other offers come in ... then complain disunity when you get questioned about your first offer.

I imagine it's been an interesting day today at Moorabbin. While I don't necessary expect a club statement, I would hope that the club is addressing it internally. The impact on morale for the playing group by having your best players, including your two captains, linked to dissatisfaction with the club or trade talks must be severe.

Remember the 40,000 crowds at Waverly most weeks and even Marvel when we weren't sh1t we got good crowds but 12 plus years of rubbish will see fans drop off , Feck i payed more than a $1000 this year and never went to one game.
And yes i know that's pretty poor but its my choice

Our first game was last week.
Left home at 9am for a 1:30 start and home again at 8pm
The kids were wrecked but at least we managed to drag them to a live match.
The only way that was possible was the time slot on a Saturday.
We need to be winning more games and getting better fixturing, Sunday games are completely ruled out for us unfortunately.

Nah, that was Walsh.

Yeah this Walsh thing worries me a little. Of course it could all be a load'a'crap, but there can be an interesting comparison made list wise to Windhager. Imagine for a moment the Walsh thing has legs, how much would he command on the open market if he was to leave Carlton on a, let's say, five year deal? Remembering of course that Walsh is 25 and Windy is 22.
