2025 List Management Discussion - Part 4

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

2025 KEY DATES
Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

Seeing as we have quite a few indigenous guys maybe the AFL can also give us the Dreamtime game over Essendon just rub the salt in.

Elvis played for South Freo before coming over. This helps us promote the contributions players made outside of the V/AFL bubble.

We can open the 2 weeks of Sir Doug Nicholls rounds with this game. A reminder of WHY it's important to recognize these players.

We can alternate hosting duties. TWO clubs get the chance to make it a blockbuster!! It's not purely selfish, it's about growing the game.

It's a no brainer and the club should be going all out for it.

Mihocek moving to Melbourne is a solid sort term get but kind of crazy on the other hand.

Look I love the way he plays, he’s their Silvagni. The guy turns up puts his body on the line gives 100% and is way better than many give him credit for. I’m sure he’s a culture builder but he’ll be 33 when the season kicks off and they’re clearing the decks with May, fat boy and clarry.

Good luck to him it’s a blow to Collingwood and I’m sure Melbourne will get their moneys worth but gee that place must be in dire straights. Goodwin got the shove which is fair enough but what about those around him.

Cho must have some set of pictures if he survives imo

Very little trade value and way too good to push out, we should keep him imo.

Nah I’m not a fan.

Great player for us and yes truly an iconic moment in vfl/afl history at Victoria park.

The downside is Neil Elvis was a loose unit at the saints, left to join the Mutts and has behaved poorly since on several occasions.

I don’t think the club or the AFL are ever going to sanction or promote that. Why not just an indigenous game in WA after Dreamtime at the G.

Great news for us, means our first maintains its value with it only dropping down one spot when WC get their band 1 in.

Going to be some serious vertical leaping prowess at the Saints next year.

Aleer, Sharman, Pou, Ryan, TDK, Tauru. High flyers on every line.

Even Hastie, NAS and Wilson have a big leap on them.

Wilson actually won the highest running jump at the draft combine, just haven't really seen him fly for his marks yet.
