2025 List Management Discussion - Part 4

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

Thanks to Lore once again for this incredibly useful spreadsheet.

Hello! I come in peace , wanted to say Row Marshall is an unbelievable player and feel very lucky his picked us as his home. Seems like a great and humble guy too, will be lucky to have him at our club.

Why would we need another small forward when we already have Higgins, Ryan, Collard and potentially Ainsworth
Steele and Ro are discreet salary dumps despite the clubs narrative. That’s obvious. The unknown is if it is for the purpose to fund Nas and the incomings or if we have a little more salary cap space to grab another marquee player like Bobby Hill. I think he’s absolutely perfect for our program under RTB.

Higgins and Ryan are hybrid marking smalls, Ainsworth isn’t on our list and Collard is unproven. Bobby is a proven gun small forward on the big stage. Not saying we will get him but he’s the type we should be targeting IMO.

I am getting Lachie Neale vibes from Flanders.

Quick hands, very clean below his feet. Low centre of gravity. Has some surprising turn of pace. Loves a stoppage goal.

On a big contract & has stated he wants to stay with the Pies & make things right.

Also, not sure if he wants to be around Bradley atm, family interference (especially a cousin)
Could be media bs though

What do people think the clubs plans will be for match day? Assuming Ro key forward and a bit of ruck duties was the plan… does it mean Keeler plays in that role, or we just go in with 1 ruck?
I’d assume the spot is up for grabs for either Keeler or Caminiti, maybe both if king goes down. It worries me a bit to be honest, hopefully both have huge preseasons along with Dodson cos they all might have to play and can’t be exposed like last year if we’re a real finals team.

If King is fit and firing it could also be King, Sharman, Owens pinch hitting which I know some people hate but he seems to enjoy it. Allows more of our smalls to play as well. Interesting dilemma for the coaches to say the least.

Except one afternoon / evening when they didn't even turn up to the Wangaratta Oval for a scheduled pre season game against the saints. It was stormy weather. They could not land at the airport.
My young children and I had driven all the way up there to see the game. No care for the expectant young fans?
They could have driven there or taken a bus.

Too affected by peptides?
What an absolutely arrogant team!
An absolute disgrace.🤔
It's good to see you've been able to move past it though........:thumbsupemoji:
